Unprofessional management
Apr 2021 • Family
My child is new to Home Education and the first group we ever attended was the Pony Club arranged by Rosa. We couldn’t believe the brilliant value and instruction from Gemma. She’s a lovely person in every way possible but sadly the same cannot be said for the management. Of course due to Covid the sessions had to stop and now they’re resuming we’re quite disappointed to find out that due to Ailean’s mismanagement my child will now be excluded from lessons as the number of riders has decreased. I’m appalled to say the very least. We would expect to have the previous agreement continuing post Covid. As an avid rider my child is sad to be let down and is considering going to a completely different riding school. For someone who’s meant to be so astute when it comes to management, Ailean really lets herself down. I feel she is a financial risk to ERS if she continues with this conduct.

Extremely unprofessional
Apr 2021 • Family
I have been attending sessions with a Home Ed group for afew years and the classes were great. Gemma is a lovely instructor, both friendly and professional. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the management, Ailean, who has been forceful, extremely unprofessional and vulgar towards her loyal customers but also has attitude towards parents and children.
She has 100% cynicism..

Great Atmosphere
Sep 2020 • Friends
The clear round show on Friday was really well run. The lady who greeted us at the door made us feel welcome and everyone I spoke to was very friendly. The timetable was clear and everything ran on time. It was really nice that there was an instructor in the ring helping the riders out and allowing them to start again if they messed up. We will definitely be back for the next one, thank you! 😊

Best Riding School Ever!
Jun 2019 • Family
When I started riding at this school, I felt welcomed at ERS. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and willing to teach beginners that have never ridden a horse or pony before all the way to advanced riders that wish to go into national competitions. There is a step-by-step course that gives all ages lots of information on how to ride, groom, muck out, help out in the stables and even lead horses. It has now been a year of riding for me and I have enjoyed every single lesson that I took and I still take them. You learn to ride the most difficult ponies and horses, but still have fun with them. I am now a leader and have great fun working in the stables, riding, leading and most of all having a chat with the friendly staff! I would highly recommend this to ALL ages : please try it out!

A Wonderful Experience
May 2019 • Solo
My visits to Ealing Riding School are always the highlight of my week. The team are all amazing, well-trained and helpful, the horses are very well-trained and good with an inexperienced rider, and great for more advanced riders too, from what I have seen. And it is a very pleasant setting, it feels more like the country than London. I would highly recommend this.

Terrible experience
Dec 2018 • Friends
I took a hack at Ealing Riding School in December and would not recommend them. The hack was cut short, meaning that we only rode for 35 minutes (we paid for a hour). We were told that we could ride on the common, which turned out to be too muddy so the whole ride was around residential roads, in walk with a few very short trots. I am a very experienced rider and having made the riding school aware of this was shocked to be led for the duration. They had clearly not taken my experience into account and being led made the whole experience very tedious. I tried to complain afterwards and was met with point-blank refusal to refund any of the cost of the ride, even to reduce the amount paid down to the correct amount for 35 minutes. Very disappointing and I will not be returning.

A great place to learn to ride for old and young students.
Dec 2017 • Solo
I started coming to Ealing Riding School in the Easter of 2016 and have continued riding every Sunday and the occasional weekday.
I never rode a horse before coming to ERS and even though I am an over 50's Gent they have continued to help and encourage me all the way.
The staff do not just teach for the sake of it but they encourage the students to progress into all aspects of the equestrian world.
With the aid of Jess and Kathleen I have completed my 1st ever showjumping competition with great success.
If anyone in the centre or the West of London would like to learn to ride(whatever age or sex you are) I would wholeheartedly recommend ERS.
But be aware that after a few months you will become a vary large part of the ERS extended family😁

The best riding school in west London
Aug 2017 • Family
My little grandson who is down-syndrome, who started a few weeks ago, what fantastic staff. Kathleen, Jess, and the girls who work with him on a Sunday, what fantastic people. Can't recommend this riding school enough, and what reasonable prices. Anne

Great experience
Jun 2016 • Family
My grandson and I have taken up riding and could not of got a better welcome as we have had at this stable.
They have made us feel very welcome from day one that we now feel part of the stable family.
They have a range of horses so you get to ride horses/ponies with a range of abilities and temperaments.
All the staff, the instructors, and the young kids that help out are all very charming and helpful which has help us both become more confident.
I have now got the bug for riding and it's a big thanks to everyone at Ealing Riding School.

A great place to learn to ride and care for ponies
Apr 2016 • Family
My daughter has learnt to ride at Ealing over the last four years.
At Ealing the children are encouraged to look after the ponies, muck out, groom and even lead them in lessons, helping them bond with the animals.
The teachers have been very encouraging and my daughter has quickly worked through the levels.
A wonderful haven, long may it last!
