The area
Address
Neighborhood: Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

Had a relaxing massage with therapist Ernestina who was absolutely amazing. Came out so relaxed and then chilled in the steam room. Lovely venue. All staff helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

Amazing time at Dolphin Soa
Jun 2021 • Friends
The whole experience was outstanding. The member of staff that greeted us when we arrived was polite and made us feel very welcome. She showed us to the changing rooms and then to our treatment room. She explained everything to us. She regularly checked on us during our visit. The Spa it’s self had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. It was clean and well maintained. This was a red letter day booking. The only thing that was missing was the humous and pitta that was meant to be part of the package. But this didn’t make our visit any less enjoyable. We will definitely recommend the Dolphin Spa to others and will arranging a return later in the year. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Expensive with unfriendly staff
Dec 2020 • Solo
I’ve been a member of this gym for a few months now. I signed up as the location was practical and they have a pool, but I’ve never been to a club with colder staff. The place is full of restrictive rules (e.g. don’t come here if you’d like to swim for 50 mins instead of 45, if you’d like a second towel for your hair, or if you’d like to go to the changing rooms more than 5 mins before your slot starts...) When you pay so much it’d be nice to be greeted with a smile every now and then! The pool is good but I’m glad to be moving somewhere new.

Worst experience for my teenage daughter. Very disappointing
Sep 2020 • Family
Rip off- they took my 15 year old daughter money for the treatment she never had . Non existing communication- we tried to ring the spa to cancel the treatment my daughter book for me on my birthday 25th of September as we could not travel due to covid 19 but nobody is answering the phone nor replying to the emails. Be aware ! She provided her card details to secure the treatment for herself, me her aunt and was told that the card will not be charged. We count make the tip to London due to covid 19 and even after we constantly kept trying to call the spa to let them know that we will not be able to make it no one picked up the phone to this day... We have send them email explaining situation - again no reply. Somehow they managed to find the time to send her bill stating that was charged for all 3 treatment she has booked but no reply to this day to our cancelation email! I find this kind of practice disgusting. It was so upsetting for my teenage daughter to learn that they took her savings and her and mine call and emails has been ignored to this day. Avoid this place!

Dear Katedavis234, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you feel we have not responded back, we had tried to reach you on the day of the booking and left voicemails and sent an email but did not hear back. On completion of the consultation forms everyone had answered no to covid. I have sent an email to you and would like to resolve this matter for you. I understand that we resolved this matter on 15.10.20 and you have since also received a full refund. If you do have any further questions or anything that you would like to discuss please do let me know. Kind regards Zara

Negative, forget the spirit of Whatever Moroccon, take your tea from home, before you get cold!

Avoid to WASTE your MONEY!
Cold place, rude lady at the reception, no tea given just cold water in a paper cup. The slippers that where given to us had evidently already been used. We paid for the Moroccan delight which includes the hamman facility. Ater that we had already paid and gotten chaged we where informed that the steam and sauna facility's where not open, they must have noticed my facial expression so the Hammam miraculously became available, last minute. They said the corona virus law changed the day before. Really sounded like a joke. The WORST part was that hamman was COLD! Cold air blowing inside. If you have ever done a Hammam or a Turkish bath, you'll know that you'll be getting bathed with warm water, in a room with loads of humidity. My bathroom literally has more humidity inside than that place. The tepiderium wasn't the best either, the stoned seats where half cold half warm.
My daughter was extremely upset. she paid 135 each, a total of 270. This was a birthday present for myself to enjoy with her. We are experienced as hamman users and this was absolutely crap.
Although Valeria massaged well, it wasnt an aromatherapy massage at all. We had our massages done separately & it wasn't promotized that way. we left disgusted by the poverty of the place.

Dear Adid692, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your visit at The Spa in Dolphin Square. The spa industry in general do have very strict guidelines from the government to follow regarding the corona virus to ensure the safety of guests visiting us and our staff. At present we are only allowed to serve water as refreshments for guests, along with guests required to wear face masks covering their nose and mouths throughout the spa facility and numerous other requirements. I would be happy to discuss this and your treatment further if you would like to contact me at thespa@dolphinsquare.co.uk Kind Regards

Good value spa in central London
Mar 2020 • Solo
Booked last minute for a 55 minute aromatherapy massage at a cost of £85. Chilled out in the relaxation area pre massage then back to another relaxation room afterwards where I was served mint tea and dates. I then used the steam room. Massage was good. She listened to what I wanted worked on and did wonders with my tense shoulder blades. I think this is a good option in London. It’s certainly not the most luxurious option around but the price point reflects that. A really good value for money option when you need a bit of time out.

Total RIP Off
Feb 2020 • Solo
Absolute joke my daughter bought me a mini spa experience for my Birthday she is a Uni Student and paid just over £100 for that I received a 10 - 15 min facial and what was supposed to be a deluxe pedicure in almost cold water which consisted of me having my shellac polish removed, nails clipped and filled and painted !!!
Shocking service, it upset me more because my daughter paid for it. Do not waste your money go somewhere more professional!

Spend your money elsewhere
Jan 2020 • Friends
Really not worth the £70 paid per person. The treatment was meant to be 55 minutes and the Luxury Rassoul. It was hardly "luxury". The steam room was timed and finished in 20 mins so we came out. It had been 35 mins. We were told that we had 15 mins more but there was no offer to turn the steam room back on. She suggested us going into the salt steam room which was so hot that we lasted 5 mins. We then went to the room with the hot stone beds. Relaxing if not for the underlying smell of sewage/clogged drains. This was also prevalent in our treatment room when we turned on the shower. To top it off we had to go looking for a spa attendant and ask for our mint tea which was meant to be brought to us after the treatment. The place could also do with an overhaul and is a bit run down in places. Not luxury by any stretch and despite the location is not justified in charging the prices it does. Overall feeling extremely shortchanged for the amount paid. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs
Aug 2019
My sister, my cousin and myself visited the The Spa in Dolphin Square in August. My mum bought this package as a Christmas present for us through Spabreaks.com. She paid a total of £177. The package included a 25 minute massage, flat bread with hummus and a glass of bubbly each, followed by 1.5 hours use of the spa facilities.

Upon arrival we were told to fill out a form then shown to the changing room and told where to wait for our treatment. That was it. No guided tour of the facilities. Three masseuse ladies were waiting for us. My masseuse was rude to me, she told me I was late which would run into the treatment time. I was not late, in fact arrived at the spa 10 minutes early! We weren't given a time allocation for our treatments so would not have known if we were late or not.

My cousin did not have a massage at all. She said it was merely a back rub. The masseuse did not discuss with her any problem areas, breathing exercises or even discuss which oils she would be using on her. She wasn't even offered water afterwards which should be standard practice as hydration is key. My sister and I were both offered water and at least received a massage. My cousin's treatment lasted for approximately 15 minutes!

When we came out we had to ask someone about the flat bread, hummus and bubbly we were supposed to be having. If my mum hadn't told us this was included in the package we would never have known as no-one approached us at all.

To summarise there was no consistency with the treatments administered to us, even though we were all having the same. We weren't shown round at all and felt like we were an inconvenience. We didn't know which facilities were available and when we found someone to ask were told only the steam room was available as the other two rooms were in use. The staff weren't at all attentive and we were left not knowing where to go or what to do.

We wanted to complain but there was no-one to complain to at the time!

The idea of a spa is to feel relaxed and calm, the staff here made us feel quite the opposite.

Relaxing spa day for one
Sep 2019 • Solo
I’ve just had the most wonderful afternoon in Dolphin Spa. The team were so welcoming and helpful. The setting was very calm and relaxing especially the heated/cooled loungers.
The treatments I had were a full body scrub, massage and facial. I feel totally relaxed and hydrated, ready for a peaceful night in.
