As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. Great place
Walking down into the venue it looked very trendy and on trend for when you thinks of queens. We did the skating and as we went early there were very few people there which was ideal as we are not the greatest on the ice. Can definitely see this being great on the night also with all the space to have food and drinks.

I'm thrilled to hear that you found our venue trendy and on-trend. We definitely strive to create an atmosphere that reflects current trends and appeals to our wonderful customers like yourself. Ice skating was fun, but it was only because I had good company! The rink was not well managed, probably because the staff were inexperienced or couldn't be bothered to work as it was quite busy. The staff didn't know how to manage the customers on the rink and instead pointed at several people who they thought had to leave when the time was up. They didn't call for the next round of people so everyone assumed that it was okay to start heading onto the ice. People who were very experienced at skating were weaving in and out of people really fast. This caused two skaters to fall down, and one cut his finger and had to leave. The staff/lady with black hair just covered the blood on the floor with ice however didn't warn any skaters to slow down. She also seemed very bored as she started skating backwards aimlessly rather than advising the others to slow down. Another suggestion is to play the music from the beginning of the session as they only turned the music on half way.
Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. While we're glad to hear that you enjoyed your time ice skating with good company, we are truly sorry to learn about the challenges you encountered during your visit. Providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests is our top priority, and we regret that we fell short of meeting your expectations. We appreciate your feedback regarding the management of the rink and the behavior of our staff. It's disheartening to hear that you felt the staff may have been inexperienced or disengaged. Rest assured, we will address these concerns with our team to ensure that all staff members are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests. We understand the importance of proper management on the ice rink to prevent accidents and ensure a smooth skating experience for everyone. We will review our procedures for managing customer flow on the rink and ensure that staff are trained to handle busy periods effectively. Regarding the incident with the experienced skaters and the resulting injury, we are deeply sorry for any distress or inconvenience caused. Our staff are trained to prioritize safety on the ice, and we will investigate this matter further to prevent similar incidents in the future. We apologize for any oversight in handling the situation and will take steps to improve our response protocols. Additionally, we appreciate your suggestion regarding the music. We will ensure that music is played from the beginning of each session to enhance the overall atmosphere and experience for our guests. We hope you will consider giving us another chance to provide you with a more enjoyable and seamless ice skating experience in the future. If you have any further concerns or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact me directly via email emma@queens.london Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Slow service
Bowling was fun and lanes were decent. The food and drinks service was very slow however. It took ages to be served at the bar and ordering online was touch and go due to the poor internet. This place has a small arcade area and a good sized ice rink too, so would come again for the bowling and ice rink, not the drinks.

    Enjoyable.
Very fun activity! Quite busy and loud but that is expected for a bowling alley. I feel that it is unnecessary for this establishment to make you pay £10 for the restaurant without giving you a choice in the matter though. Especially as the majority of your customers are probably teenagers!

I’d heard good things on social media about Queen’s but I have to say I was left rather disappointed. Firstly it was extremely pricey, the tickets themselves were a lot, costing £12 for an hour of skating. There was also an additional fee of £2.75 for the hire of ice skates which I felt should’ve been included in the price as £15 for an hours skating each for a family is a lot of money! The drinks at the bar were also very overpriced. My second issue was the lockers. I believe they cost £2 to hire a locker which is reasonable but there was only one set of lockers where you could use cars to pay and the que was so long! We were queuing for so long that we missed 20 minutes of our skate time all for a locker! Although I understand this cannot be helped there was then a fire alarm and we had to evacuate the building, meaning yet more of our skate time was lost. The locker issue was a real shame to me as you could see lots of families with young children eager to get on the ice but stuck in a long que waiting to hire a locker. The rink was also very busy, meaning it very hard to get around easily. Although I feel our experience at this centre wasn’t the best due to having to que for lockers for so long, it’s an ideal location and very pretty environment so if your willing to spend a lot and que for what fees like an eternity for a locker I’d give it a go!

My girlfriend booked this for my birthday as we both love ice skating and looking at pictures online it seems like it would be an ideal place for what we have planned.

We arrived on time and was treated nicely by the staff, but once we got into the ice rink everything started to take a turn in the wrong direction.

Firstly the ice surface had clearly melted, with some visible puddles around most of the rink, it almost felt like we were skating in a swimming pool.

Secondly, half of the ice rink was barriered off (one side of the rink was barriered for no apparent reason, while the other side was coned off for private lessons).

Thirdly, there were people from all abilities on the ice (from complete beginners to hockey players) which isn't a problem. But a few individuals who were more experienced decided that it would be a good idea to race between themselves while weaving between people with no regards of others. They have even skated full speed going backwards and eventually did bump into others. The staff did nothing to try and stop them, even when some of the beginners were feeling really uncomfortable. We were also feeling quite uncomfortable as most of the time we had to keep an eye out for those individuals who might run into us at full speed anytime.

At the end of the day, it wasn't a great experience, especially considering the price we had to pay (we paid for a full rink session and wasn't expecting half the rink to be closed off anyway). All in all I would not recommend Queens for ice skating.

Rink is small and ice is poor quality - bumpy. Also, the staff seem to have a really bad attitude. I used to skate there years ago but left because of the obnoxious way the management dealt with the skaters. (Other regular skaters had the same opinion.) I recently went back for a couple of weeks and, like other people were doing, left my stuff on a bench behind the rink where I could keep an eye on it. Today I looked up and it was gone. While searching for it I asked a member of staff who mumbled that he had moved some property to the reception booth. I was pretty cross that he'd moved my stuff without telling me. Why couldn't he just have called out to people to put their stuff away? (The session was very quiet.) But then he said he'd only give it back if I promised to put it in a locker. I said I wanted my things back and he just refused to give them to me. We spent minutes arguing about it and eventually we called a manager in and he wouldn't give me my things back either. They said there was a sign saying not to leave property unattended but I couldn't see one. It seems basically to be a scam where they want you to pay an extra two pounds for a locker whether you need one or not. Also, they're lying about being the only ice rink in London. Avoid.

Everything from the beginning to the end was awful including responding to customer complaints after. There were 7 of us including children and it was one of my worse experiences. I rather travel further along to A406 and go elsewhere even though I am 5 mins away from here. Cheaper and better customer service. It is a rip off. They force you to have cheap fried food which was horrible and stop you from playing if you go over the time frame. With a £300 bill and limited time to play and eat with young childen is atrocious.

I would not recommend anyone with young kids to go. It is a place I grew up in over 30 years ago and live in the same area but will NEVER go again especially with the current management. Terrible service. Complaint was sent 3 weeks ago and still not heard back. If this is the way to claw back covid losses then they are sending customers in the opposite direction!

It’s so annoying that the rink is always open to the public so there is really no time when I can have my coaching lessons without people constantly cutting me off, bumping into me or falling/tripping over. Having a time on a certain day reserved for practice sessions would be so great! Also, I think it would be great if there was some sort of membership for people who use the rink on a regular basis for training like the Streatham leisure centre does. Having to pay £15 every time I wanna use the rink just seems too much, especially when you’re a regular.
It’s great that the rink is so central but it feels like they don’t actually care about their customers and are only focused on making money. Such a shame.

Recently went curling & had lunch at the venue as part of a Team Off-site session. The process from booking in advance & the lunch itself was poor from the start.

They threatened to cancel my booking numerous amounts of times after I had not returned various items (Deposit, Lunch Menu etc), even though they had not requested this from me. After I pointed this out they then sent me the correct payment link & information to fill my order in. They were increasingly unclear with what the package provided, and did not cater for all of the dietary restrictions of the large group, given we were only allowed to order 5 things off the menu.

I called them many times for clarification on the options available and what needed to be done, however they then provided contradictory information over email, making the entire process painful from the outset and throughout

Incredibly Inflexible and unorganised. I would not recommend coming here for any work related events unless you want a constant headache!

Extremely poorly organised place. We booked on for 5:30 didn’t get on till 5:50. Only because I asked the guys who were still in the lane who weren’t playing just drinking beer. As soon as we got playing our lane broke. So didn’t actually start playing until 6:10 to be told at 6:30 that the next people had come and we had to leave. The girl said we wouldn’t loose any time when we were delayed getting onto our lane. We only had the lane for 20 mins instead of the 45 which we actually booked it for. Would not recommend. Plus £3 for air hockey. Crazy!

Came in with my kids and while they went skating I went out for a walk around the neighbourhood only to be stopped at the entrance coming back because I bought a handful of trinkets and a tea.

Security guard was extremely rude and condescending. Apparently rules are rules and you can not bring any food and drinks inside. Fair enough. Unless it’s morning and you’ve got a coffee, or something along those lines as confirmed by a manager. Or if no one( by no one I mean security guards) notices your massive Tesco or M&S bag.

It’s also ok to have anything you want as long as they haven’t seen you bring it in. All in all, it felt ridiculous and pathetic. I’m literally sitting down writing this review and watching people eat their own sandwiches and what not.

They also still play Michael Jackson… it’s not the 1990s anymore… 😭

Violently mistreated on bowling booking.

The worst experience I have had in London. I am a Londoner that has lived here for 25 years and never have I had a worse experience. First they weren’t ready for our booking, told us we hadn’t booked, when we had, subsequently we got chased and told we had booked and directed to our bowling alley. Not a great start. We ordered drinks at the bar and no issue. Later on in the night, our whole group got ID’ed, even after being served already, I might add this was illegal, if we want to run by the same standards as they said on the night. A huge fuss was made when one of the group of 6 people did not have physical ID with him. My first question was, why didn’t you ID all of us upon entry, or upon ordering our first drink? We were treated ridiculously poorly for one of the group not having ID. We were then very quickly and unfairly all kicked out despite the bar giving everyone in the group alcohol, including tequila shots. To clarify, we are all over 25 years of age, and noticeably. There was one individual staff member at the bar which had it out for our group, and was loitering around where we were sitting, staring at us very uncomfortably. When we casually went to order more drinks we had security emerge on the whole group kicking us out. It’s extremely poor, and to be honest disgusting behaviour that was just uncalled for. I would never go back again, and discourage everyone from going there. Clearly there is a clear disconnect with some of the staff there and the manager, who without any intention to understand what the issue created was, just decided to kick all of us out. That’s simply not how you treat people let alone customers. The manager chaotically spilt one of our groups drink on the floor, which of course, we had already paid for. A very very poor experience. Think twice when going here. Extremely poor staff with poor attitudes, poor service, a ridiculous and unnecessary night, which escalated very quickly despite our whole group being respectful and accommodating. Never will I waste my life at this mediocre bar.

Based on the own staff assertions - this bar should be shut down for serving under 18s drinks.

Hello Juan. We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us and we sincerely apologize for the experience you described. We take allegations of mistreatment very seriously, and we understand your frustration with the situation. After investigating the incident further, we found that our staff followed standard procedures regarding ID checks at the bar. Two members of your group were asked for ID, and although they eventually received their drinks, there were comments made about the process. When another member of your group attempted to order a drink without physical ID, we were unable to serve them due to legal requirements. While we did not ask your entire group to leave initially, there was a refusal to comply with our policy, which led to the decision to ask the group to leave. We also want to clarify that while there was a spillage incident, we promptly provided a replacement drink and attempted to rectify the situation. Our staff were simply doing their job by following legal requirements for serving alcohol. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we want to assure you that we take feedback seriously and will use this incident as an opportunity for further training and improvement. If you have any further concerns or would like to discuss this matter further, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. Again, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize once again for any inconvenience caused.
