Good facilities but arrogant membership staff who never replies to feedback .

In my 2.5 yrs I have loved one high intensity class at this gym which is usually overcrowded . If you don’t book in time you hardly ever get to go . Trainers are nice , though some of them have no idea what they are doing . Membership staff is really nice when you are not a member - once you are in, no feedback is replied to or actioned. I hv now ended my luxurious membership.

Downward spiral
Oct 2013 • Friends
The one good feature of this gym is that people come to actually work out--it's not a showy, ostentatious "night club" club environment. Apart from this, it's hard to think of anything to recommend it. The floors of the studio, mirrors, mats and weights are so filthy that you have to think twice about touching anything. The mirrors in the studio are unusable because there is a huge board running through them at the point one would want to observe oneself, i.e, to see if one's back is straight. The club owner has dispensed with paper cups at the broken down water fountain and there are no tissues available, so you must bring your own water bottle and tissues.
The television screens show programs which do not include music or dance programs and the sound system is nonfunctional to all purposes in any case. Once my membership expires, (and I have been a member for several years, hoping things would improve), I will definitely not renew. Go for a run in Kensington Gardens. At least you'll get fresh air. You can use your own tissues.

Dirty and poorly maintained
Dirty and poorly maintained. Small free weights area that gets cluttered with selfish plebs who leave their belongings on the equipment whilst wandering off elsewhere. Staff are nonchalant. Considering the location and facilities the price is ok but this place needs a damn good clean and at least hourly checking of the changing rooms and toilets which, frankly, are gross and smell. It's rather like something out of high school.

A great local gym with a brilliant selection of classes
Dec 2011 • Friends
I've been a member here for about 6 months and sadly have to leave after accepting a job elsewhere in the city. The gym is well catered for all types of workouts and there is always a good selection of classes on with friendly staff on hand to advise. The onyl thing missing is a steam room or swimming pool, but have=ing said this it's quite reasonable for the area and literally on Kensington High Street.
