Very decent pub, largely unspoilt and with a good range of ales. Tucked away in Bloomsbury which doesn't have many good boozers left so this is a bit of an oasis in a sea of chain mediocrity.

Love this pub. It is friendly and welcoming with a lovely atmosphere. Nice little outside seating area to the side. The staff are lovely and the choice of beers great - especially the dark Budvar lager which you don’t see in many places.

They keep a good pint of ale and all hand pulled beer is £4. So good value too. Usually pop in for a pint after work.

If any of you are Seinfeld fans, this might be the Bloomsbury version of the soup fellow/beer fellow. It had a good local atmosphere. The fish and chips were good and the double cheeseburger was as well. Beer was fine – some local brews. The...More

I always stay in Cartwright Gardens, and this is a great pub one block away. Great service, good prices, good beer and liquor selection. They make a fish and chips with a gluten free coating that I was frankly leary of trying. What a surprise...More

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and

It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated

Despite an understandable popularity with students,
