Hatchards offers an extraordinary selection of primarily new, but also used books. The quality and diversity of the selections are exceptional. Difficult to enter and not find a handful of books of interest. They mail to the US, but postage is expensive.

This is what a bookshop should be like. So much to choose from. Wonderful displays, and helpful and knowledgeable staff. It had been a while since I visited,I shall not leave it so long for my next visit.

Stunning bookstore - I always come here when in need of some inspiration. They do sell lots of signed books, which is great, as well as host events. Knowledgeable staff, beautiful cards and stationery. Lovely part of London too.
