We made our way to the south bank, just behind the London Eye, had to wait a while, but that was ok, thoroughly enjoyed the tour around the sights of the capital and then pulled up next to the Mi6 building, ready to take the plunge into old Mother Thames, down to Vauxhall bridge and then back to where we stared at the... I booked this for my friends hen weekend, for 14 of us, sounded like amazing fun, on road sightseeing then on the water! However when I booked online I clicked on the wrong date and so I booked it for the Saturday and we didn't show up until the Sunday! I thought it was a disaster but the duck tours... More

Had a family trip and enjoyed every moment. The driver Chris and guide Tony were brilliant and would recommend this for anyone wanting to see London from the road and river.

We did this on Sunday, it was good fun and something different! Weird going from land to river in the same vehicle. Tony was our guide, really funny and knowledgeable. A fabulous trip for kids as well as adults.

I went on a trip with my cousin for a duck tour and we had a fabulous time . The host whose name was Tony was the most humorous and exciting man I have ever met . He taught us a lot about the history of London and showed us places that were new to me . As well as... More

We did the Duck Tour visit at London on our last trip last week. People are very kind and the tour was very funny and very instructuve. We saw a lot of Buildings and monuments, and the guide was always giving us information and anecdotes about them. It's incredible to visit London aboard a vehicle same as the vehicles at... More

We did this yesterday afternoon.... It was so much fun! Living close to London we don't often do 'tourist' things but as part of a weekend trip I booked and was really pleased I did. Service was great and tour guide informative and funny. Has awakened an interest to be a tourist more often!

Booked this tour for my Fiance's birthday as he's always wanted to go on one of these tours, so combining it with the James Bond theme was great. Our Mr Bond guide Matt was entertaining and full of interesting facts. Would highly recommend this tour!

This is genuinely one of the best family activities we have done. The normal tour was diverted due to a protest in Westminster but our guide Nick was absolutely brilliant and we toured the city of London instead. Really interesting and educational for all the the family and brilliant fun at the same time. My boys think Nick should be... More

The London Duck Tour is a unique opportunity to learn about and enjoy London in a genuine World War Two vehicle. The guide was excellent. He was witty and informative. Something of interest for everyone. The experience of travelling in an amphibious vehicle is both memorable and entertaining.

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
