We decided last minute to do a HOHO bus tour as it was a friend's first time in London and we thought it would be an efficient way to show her all the sights. Our cabbie dropped us off near Buckingham Palace and we were looking for the right bus stop when a guide asked if we wanted the bus... More

We jumped on the Yellow line which was the Live commentary tour in English. We laughed all the way as the guide was Hilarious but informative. The main ticket office is at Trafalger Square and the first stop just over the road. The full Red route is about 1.5 hours so go around once and the. Choose where you want... More

The hop on/off is a good and inexpensive way to get a feel for the city highlights and see them via the street. In my opinion, it is not a good way to learn about the highlights - our guide spoke so quickly and with a garbled accent that we didn't understand anything. That part was very disappointing. But we... More

We were a party of 3, taking the Original Tour on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. The rep at the Russell Square stop where we first boarded could not have cared less about anything and it was clear he didn't want to be there - was not helpful, was vague, and did not instruct us to take headsets and offered no... The ability to hop on and off at whatever stops most interest you is a great way to see the city. The view from the upstairs is great and the River Cruise is a fantastic bonus. The convenience of being able to listen to historical commentary in multiple languages is very convenient. I'd definitely recommend the tour, no matter how... More

Tours take in the key attractions in London and provides viewers with a reasonably cost efficient way to see them from the outside. Also included was a Thames 30 minute cruise (Tower Pier to Westminster) which was a very nice experience. Note: There was a representative at our location (near Buckingham Palace) who was very good at providing advice, etc... More

I took a friend on this today; she only had half a day in London, so I thought this would be a good way to see as much as possible in the short time. Unfortunately we had to wait 40 mins near Waterloo to get on our first bus, after watching multiples of every other bus tour co go past.... More

We travelled by tube across London and collected our tickets. No toilet available. Advised to go to the national gallery across the road. So after traipsing across the road, bags searched by security, up a flight of stairs to the loo we finally got back on the streets to find the appropriate bus stop to start the tour. Well we waited... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
