Neighborhood: Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.

Love this shop for homeware and other bits and bobs! Aidan was particularly helpful when we went to the shop last. He went above and beyond to help us in swapping an item in a set that we wanted to buy and we really appreciated it. Thanks, Aidan!

This shop is famous for showcasing contemporary design in furnishings and household items, but also sells design classics. Everywhere you look there are interesting objects, down to a wooden pencil sharpener with five blades and five holes for different sized pencils! The prices are definitely not for the faint hearted but you’re paying for design creativity, not just the functionality. The shop has just celebrated twenty five years and will no doubt thrive for as long as enough people will pay a substantial premium for great design.

Lovely settees and welcoming staff make this a geat place to get a coffee and chat. It was so pleasant we stayed for lunch.. No one rushed us or fussed when the baby cried - just all very lovely - and the food was nice too. Only draw back was that there is no baby change - althoug the loo was spotless.

Big change on last year and not for the better sadly. Last year tables laden with gadgets and gifts. I bought a clock and a milk frother from the Chelsea shop, nothing to buy this year. same applies to new Sloane Square shop, it's all laid out in lifestyle settings, nothing was appealing unlike last year. Looked more like a furniture store with kitchen fittings and a bedroom made up. Very disappointing.

We walked into the shop today while it was raining outside because my mom is a highly valuable customer, she buys from this place all the time. It was 4:45 PM on Sunday 3rd Sept.
As we were looking around within the first 30 seconds the security guard comes up to my mom (who was cold) and very rudely says 'remove the hoody'. All of us were shocked with his tone of voice and the Way he spoke to her that we decided to leave (lost 4 valuable customers), I felt the need to express this to someone working in the shop to share it with her manager.
I spoke to a lovely lady at the left side cashier and she was so sympathetic and asked me to point out the guard as I was leaving I pointed him out and he came up to me with aggression and says rudely again 'Don't point at me!!! You were wrong and you are in Britain!' Now this is when it started to turn into racial profiling, because he didn't know where we were from?! I've lived in London for 4 years and have never been asked to remove my hat, scarf or hoody rudely by anyone before, always kindly and with respect!
He was so rude and I'm sure the nice lady who was comforting my mom will share this with the manager today, my mom promised me she will never come back to the store and all 4 of us too until this extremely rude security guard learns how to work in retail!
Worst experience and would never come back here because of him! Approach is very important and speaking to customers in this manner will make you lose them.

Conrad shop is one of my favorite place to shop in. I walked in with my 3 children wearing my rain coat that had a hoodie. It was raining and cold outside so I had my hoodie on. Once I was in, the security guard rudely gestured at my hoodie and said "remove it." 3 of my children and I were shocked at the rude way in which he spoke to me.
If it is a rule in your store please make it in clear writing to avoid this sort of embarrassment 🙏 also, approach is everything. Unfortunately, you've lost a loyal customer today because of the disrespectful approach.

I always become a little stressed when I enter a Conran shop and it's because of their pricing structure!
It's all very nice and it comes down to personal taste, however much of what they offer can be bought elsewhere for a fraction of the price! It's hardly surprising high streets are dieing and beware Marylebone, you aren't bulletproof.

Marylebone High Street .A wonderful shop with every item beautifully displayed. Cafe has excellent menu and charming staff but - the grating noise of chairs scraping on the hard floor made our visit to the café intolerable. Could someone PLEASE put some felt pads on the bottom of the chair legs? We love the café but unless it can muffle the sound of the chairs we will go elsewhere.

This store is a pleasure to visit especially following it's redesign last year .
There are so many beautiful and inspiring products and I love the vintage furniture ,terracotta pots and copper kitchenware.
I am always compelled to buy a stylish object ,sometimes functional or just french ,aromatic and decorative .
Visit on a sunday when the atmosphere is tranquil on Marylebone High street.
The after service is surprising as I bought a beautiful red radio which died on us .They took the trouble to find the invoice for us and directed us to the company which supplied them so that we can ask them to collect it and mend it .
We had several telephone calls responding to our enquiry .Customer service !
