With friends at Ronnie Scott’s to see Curtis Stigers and it proved to be yet another superb night out. We could not rate this London club highly enough. Not only is the consistently high musical standard at the club amazing, so it the food. Anyone who has had to organise this sort of event will know this only is possible... More

You can argue that you don't go to Ronnie Scott's for the food which is true but if you are there all evening you need to eat. Went for the fabulous Imelda May set and needed food after work but was sorely disappointed. All I ordered was a bowl of soup or should I say half a bowl. The soup... More

The venue is legendary and it is easy to see why. A small intimate venue where the focus is on the audience appreciating the music. The food menu is fairly old fashioned but the quality is good and the prices are very reasonable, ranging from a few pounds for snacks to £10-£15 for meals. Bottles of wine from around £25... More

Have been here on a few occasions,it's a great venue. Its how I imagine a Jazz club should be, intimate, low lights etc.If you're a tourist this is a must ,if you can get tickets!! We booked to see Alice Russell, I didn't know her music music but WOW absolutely brilliant, with a terrific band. The whole place was up and... More

Visited this prestigious world famous venue for some live jazz music. The place is cozy with a nice ambience but is not cheap as a dining experience. Be aware of this beforehand. The staff are attentive and friendly. However, I do have this nagging view that the place just feels a bit too corporate for my liking and this is... More

Went to see the fabulous Kurt Elling with a friend. I personally found little on the menu to tempt me. My friend and opted for the burger and chips which was okay... however we both found ourselves chewing a bit of the napkin! Why serve a burger on a napkin on a plate in a darkened room? That said it... More

I visit Ronnie Scott's monthly for an even I adore. It is always held in the upper level and one thing to note down is that if you would like to see the show comfortably, come early to ensure good seats. I come 30min before the show. Food and drinks are excellent, and staff very friendly and professional.

We visited Ronnie Scotts several times and will return as often as possible. Its a nice and exclusive place where you can see the artist from less then 2m. After the show you can get your CDs signed and even take a photo. However on one ocasion a Lady next to us was talking and wow-ing loud during the performance... More

I love Ronnie's and I hadn't been for a few years, so this visit felt well over due. It's a great place to go when you really fancy something different, a change from the norm- and it has an amazing, effortlessly cool vibe. We went and saw Steve Gadd and his band and the music was unbelievable - you could... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
