We spent a great evening at Ronnie Scotts last night in the upper lounge. The Jitter Kings were worth every penny of their £11 ticket. I would urge you to see them. However, our evening was marred by aggressive bar staff. I went to the...More

Went upstairs & charged £8 each to get in. Sadly this money isn’t spent on maintaining the venue. The carpets are the filthiest I’ve ever encountered. At the bar my husband struggled to chose as there is only bottled beers, none of which are what...More

Went for a gig. The music was excellent but the sound had interference throughout. The bar charges a 12.5% service charge on top of already overpriced drinks. In my case for getting a bottle out of the fridge and handing it over. The was a...More

If you enjoy jazz clubs upstairs at Ronnie Scott's on a Wednesday night is the place to be. Brilliant jazz musicians with a late jam session. Very relaxed atmosphere and great cocktails. Definitely worth a visit.

On the night I went to Ronnie’s they made a point of telling us that we were allowed to use our cameras. So I assumed that on most nights they didn’t allow photography :)

The weekend that I attended there were children there. As young as 10 if I remember correctly. This was on a Sunday afternoon. I would double check as they have many different nights on :)

It's Sunday evening and just started to rain, so I've come in from the garden and will tell you this little true story... It was back in about '89 and I arranged to meet a friend in St Christopher's Place in central London. there was a jazz festival on and it was a lovely summers evening. We liked our wine and she was already waiting for me at a good table with a good bottle and an excellent spot to listen to the music. After a while, it was getting busy and a pretty American lady asked...More

WOW - how cool! that sounds like the best night. I went to a Magnum concert (ok,ok - I was young) in Warrington (this also shows how bad things had gotten for this once respectable band)back on april 28 1990 (I remember because it was my eldests 1st birthday and I was feeling more than a little guilty about going out). Anyway my mates and I all went to the bar down the road before hand as our bus had got us there way too early - we sat for about 2 hours next to this group of people and...More

Good Afternoon...We are planning a Nov/Dec trip to London and have never been to Ronnie Scott's. Have read on line, their page, other descriptions and still need a bit of help. We would want the early show. I would order tickets. Arrive in London with tickets in hand. Arrive how early? Go where tickets are promised. Order drinks and meal at same time? Not enough time to do drinks, app, meal or just go for drinks and nibbles? Food service, I would hope, would end when music starts? Realize...More

Hi Gale, I saw Cassandra Wilson there in July and was in a seat to the left of the stage right at the back with restricted view (pillar partially obscuring the view) which was a bit annoying but I had no other option at the time of booking. So try and avoid these seats.
