I don't know about you but by the end of day, I don't know about you, but I was feeling 22.

Great atmosphere
Jan 2020
Went to the Nations Cup Netball on Saturday. Wonderful atmosphere during the games. We were in row 4 on the lower level and had a good view of everything. Not sure how good a view it would be on the upper level though ~ bit too far away from the action for me. The food sellers just sold junk food which did not look very appetising and was a bit pricey. They state on their website you can't take any food or drink inside the venue, so they have a captive audience from that point of view. No water fountains that I could find and the toilet facilities were pretty grim where we were ~ just 4 cubicles, so a very long queue! The netball was great and the place was packed.

Lack of water fountains
Jan 2020 • Family
I had attended the nation cup netball tournament yesterday. A great venue and atmosphere- but no water fountains to top up portable bottles! Only water in plastic bottles to be purchased! Bad form ecologically and rubbish practice for a sporting venue!

Good location
Jan 2020 • Family
Visited for a London Lions basketball game.
The game was brilliant entertainment but event staff were rude.
They certainly don't add to the feel good of the evening.

Poor Venue
Oct 2019
Visited for the All Stars Basketball Championship, can't fault the event as this was great.
The venue however is a whole different story, very disorganised the staff didn't even know where our seats were when we asked.

Drink prices very high and the food was expensive and definitely not good quality for the money paid, hot dog was barely warm and bun was very dry even with lots of sauce.

Better staff, cleaner toilets and an improved menu would improve this place massively.

It's a big brown box! (Where is the copper...?)
Oct 2019
Visited the Copper Box on 13th Oct 2019 for the BBL Basketball finals - great fun but we were rather disappointed with the look of the Copper Box. It is a big, brown, dull box, totally devoid of any interest or visual appeal. We were half expecting an interesting roof of burnished copper or something like that. It looks like a car park or swimming pool. It is just...brown. Where is the copper?! Very poor.

Also the signage for those walking from Stratford (99% of visitors?) was AWFUL. Tiny, crappy signs, well hidden and not many of them. The Olympic Park itself is currently a mess of confusing crossings and roadworks, and now with busy roads everywhere (why isn't the whole area pedestrianised, safe, clean and quiet from Stratford??!) - all very disappointing and badly managed.

The venue inside was ok, although I thought the food was really poor and greatly overpriced (and smelly) and the queues were slow. My wife also said the women's toilet faclities were too small with very large queues.

Basketball great - Copper Box poor
Oct 2019
Whilst the basketball at the All Stars was excellent on Sunday as usual the poor venue let the event down. The RIDICULOUS condition that no food or drink can be taken saw good food and drink wasted in the bins outside. The food inside was neither good nor healthy and was as expected extortionately expensive. I have asked before why this condition is in place and NO-ONE at the Copper Box has ever he courtesy to reply, which I find simply rude and ignorant. The PA system must be one of the worst at any sporting venue I have been to - and I have been to a few! The commentary and interviews were impossible to understand, being either too quiet or screaming into the microphone to it was so distorted as to be useless. Since when was the word play pronounced with two syllables? (PERLAY). There was scant information about how the order of play was arranged or how the Power Plays would come into play. The teams playing very often wore very similar coloured shirts which made identification difficult and was only changed for the semi- final and final. Some of these criticisms could be aimed at the Copper Box and some at the Basketball people.

Great Venue
Oct 2019
After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor I was tentative about our visit to the Copper Box to watch the Basketball All Star Championships with my two children. However I was pleasantly surprised - the venue was great and well organised and the food and drinks were exactly what you would expect from a venue facilitating sporting events. I would never expect to take my own food into any venue as this is a main source of their revenue but the food on offer was okay and averagely priced. The only issue we had was not having the lids on bottles, when I asked a member of staff they told me it was because they have had problems with people throwing them. Shame that a few idiots have ruined this for the rest of us and there were lots of spillages. If is your first time visiting the Copper Box - I hope you have fun! We did.

JOBSWORTHS AT THE DOOR
Oct 2019
Got some tickets for a family trip to the Copper Box to see the annual All Stars basket ball championship. Been to the venue before but was astonished by the “security” on the door demanding that we Not take bottles of water or sandwiches inside. Many people ignored this and walked in with bottles and food in their pockets, some with ma Donald’s meals in paper bags. It is of course a joke as only drinks available are fizzy sugar filled or beer. Being diabetic I can’t drink this. The food cheeseburgers, hotdogs or nachos also not appropriate for me but still I was rudely informed nothing could be taken in. We did go in taking some stuff for the children in our party but left early to get food elsewhere. Will think seriously before going here again unless policy changes.

Good venue for netball
Oct 2019
Went to watch the netball here. The venue is great for this Sport. However their policy re food and drank is not great ie no food or drink allowed. It was not obvious if we could bring in empty bottles for refill or not. The food choice was poor considering you can’t bring in your own food. There were wraps and sandwiches but not very many choices and the hot food consisted of burgers and hot dogs not sure if there was a vegetarian hot option. The burgers were not nice and I don’t want to know what they were made from. They removed the lids from the drinks .. although not from everyone saying it was policy so the drinks went flat quickly increasing the chance of spillage....
The venue itself was easy to get to and the parking was good near by at the station about a 15 min walk.
I would go again to the venue but they should sort their food options out.
