Neighborhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Clever Holly Lander and Orla Bennett's ambitions have been achieved by the opening of their gallery in Hackney Downs showing unorthodox contemporary art, illustration and low brow weirdness from around the world. The gallery is dedicated to showing highest quality, under-exposed contemporary art including, but not limited to Pop Surrealism, Mid-Century, Polynesian Pop, illustration, modern folk, tattoo artistry and Niave Pop.

I love this gallery. It's different and they have some great stuff for sale. I first visited in Sept 15 for the Miniature Ink exhibition. My tattoo artist was exhibiting and many other that I admire had Kewpies on show too. It was awesome, never seen anything like it. It was so worth waiting in line for!

Constantly amazed how founders Orla and Holly keep finding this otherwise hidden talent. Keep up the good works ladies! Varied artists and regular events make this a place worth visiting.
Have recently relocated to 7 Green's Court, Soho and will be exhibiting at London's Affordable art exhibition next week.
