The Chocolate Museum is an independent museum where you can make, taste and learn about chocolate, located in the heart of vibrant Brixton. Our mission is to inspire a passion for learning about quality chocolate and its history both in Britain and worldwide. We run a very dynamic programme of chocolate workshops for kids, adults, the whole family, schools, holiday clubs, home education, corporate groups and special occasions. The programme includes special dates for half term and summer holidays. The museum is opened to the public from Wednesday to Friday, from 2 to 7pm, Saturdays and Sundays, from 11am to 6pm. We have a permanent exhibition with a range of objects and memorabilia acquired over many years from different merchants and collectors. We also have important books with valuable information about chocolate. Our menu includes hot chocolates, drinks, a unique selection of chocolates and the drop-in chocolate making sessions for adults and kids when anybody can come and make your own chocolate truffles and lollies, using good quality chocolates, fillings and a wide range of decorations. We also hold events and talks with food and chocolate demonstrations by expert chocolatiers or bean-to-bar makers.

I went with my husband to experience making truffles together, we genuinely wanted to learn how to do this. Thought it would be a fabulous workshop, especially for the price. We sat with 14 people around a long narrow table, very cramped and uncomfortable. I...More

Bravo! Had a fantastic time with Maria and Isabelle, entertaining and educating my class of 8 year olds, as we learned more about chocolate and later made our own. Highly recommended for all ages: kids, adults, families. Fun idea for a different type of date.

We held our daughters 8th birthday party at The Chocolate Museum and would definitely recommend it. Imogen was our host and greeted the kids with a big smile. With 18 kids it was no easy task to keep them engaged but Imogen was absolutely brilliant....More

Went with my sister for her birthday to make truffles. It was great fun! Maria, the teacher, taught us lots about chocolate, gave us samples to try, then we made ganache and our own truffles. It's really in-depth, you're not just decorating stuff they give...More
