Went here to meet friends, may 2019,the staff were busy talking in there native language. They wasn’t interested in taking our order, the food is bland and it was literally dropped in front of us on the plate, don’t know if it was a bad day (no terrible) but don’t take it out on customers, she then turned and talking loudly in her European voice to her colleagues then pointing to our table and then with a smirking grin on her face, her colleague brought the tea over 3/4 full in the cups, with disdain.went here 15 years ago,and it was great, the owners really need to train or be present on the premises to see what’s going on,will not be going back here for a long time, until I hear a positive feedback from my friends,I was truly let down by the workers and atmosphere of the service, such a shame that this British institution of motor bike history is being let down by the rude and unwelcoming staff.

Ordered omelette and chips and the English breakfast, got the omelette after about 15 minutes, chips were cold. We asked for them to be heated up, they took them away. After 30 minutes, I still hadn't received my breakfast, so I chased up my breakfast and my wife's chips, they said they were both coming. After 40 minutes my breakfast turned up, but the bacon wasn't well done, so I asked for them to take it away whilst I ate my breakfast and where are my wife's chips! After I ate my breakfast, my bacon turned up! Still no chips! My wife asked again about the chips and we got them (1h 20m later) when I got my breakfast, I asked for a tea and a coffee and they even charged us for it! Wasted a beautiful morning here, won't be eating here again for a while!

Always wanted to taste this slice of history, ton up boys, mods n rockers etc....
I try to get to the Brighton bash often and have worn the t shirts with pride all over the world.
What a shame.
Food was the usual fare but the service was awful.
Was barked at by some abrupt woman in an eastern European accent instead of being served.
Also found myself in the middle of a staff argument while trying to buy some merchandise.
It was truly a let down.
This place is a frontrunner in British motoring history, why are the people here treating the public this way?
I didn't expect the Ritz......
I won't be going back or recommending it.

Come to the Ace about once a week but haven't eaten here for months as the food is so bad. Decided to see if it's any better and regrettably is not. My friends have often had to send back the food in the past. On this occasion I opted for the Manx kippers and two poached eggs which came to an overpriced ÂŁ9.95. Kippers were so overcooked they were almost crisp. See attached photo. It will be many more months before I try the food again.
However as a meeting place it's up there with the best.

Popped in with French exchange student for late breakfast. He liked the almost museum like location with a full English. One of the few full meals he actually ate with us.

We stayed in a hotel a couple of hundred metres from the Ace Cafe.
It as long been on my bucket list, living in Cumbria it's too far to travel for a Friday night out.
We were going to the Challenge Cup at Wembley and booked the Hotel without realising that the Ace Cafe was so close.
It did not disappoint, although we did not eat there we called in the morning and called back after the game.
It was Hot Rod and American car night and the car park was filling quickly with some very good looking vehicles.
It is everything I had expected, and we will be back.
Prices looked very good 2 brews ÂŁ2.50 for London that's amazing.

Staying in the Travelodge Wembley for the Rugby, knew the Ace was only a couple of minutes walk away so decided to pay a visit. So glad we did!
Really friendly staff, great food and awesome atmosphere.
Bikes on the Friday night were everywhere, carpark full of ridersfrom all walks of life.
Food was really good and gret value, so went back for breakfast before the game
Surprised to see the carpark full again with super cars. Breakfast was fantastic!!
If you get the chance to go, you will not regret it!!
Thanks to all the staff at the Ace for a brilliant time, see you again soon

We were looking forward to our visit to The Ace Cafe on a recent trip to see ELO at Wembley. Lovely atmosphere, lots to look at, plenty of bikes and cars. Sadly the food was a complete let down. Iced coffee was horrible, two of us ordered the steak and ale pie, when it arrived it was stone cold along with my mashed potato which was freezing . We both sent our dinners back, no apologies, our dinners were just stuck under the grill to warm up. When our dinners returned, mine was burnt on top but still cold underneath. A new chef who has a bit of pride is what's needed in this establishment. We won't be back.

Written May 27, 2019
As long as you don't go into Central London you won't have to pay the charge. The Ace Cafe is outside the ULEZ charging zone (details on what is covered by this can be found on the TFL Congestion website)

Can you camp outside thanks Peter
Written September 3, 2018
Definite no on that. Hotels are nearby but camping.... probably best look along the M1/ A1 corridor into Herts or Beds... which would provide easy access by road to the Ace.
