This is a lovely, iconic piece of our history, and I couldn’t wait to get there. After riding for over three hours, I found it oozes charm, personality and character.
It is done out well and retains the whole 60’s biker café atmosphere with great period effects like the posters, juke box and photos.
Even so, given the fact that it is a petrol head’s cafe, the poor quality and presentation of the food was inexcusable.
Also, for a place with international repute, the shop was cramped and dimly lit. To the point where it was awkward getting more than 3 people in there, and difficult to see some of the (very nice) merchandise.
It really is a great place to visit though, and I will be back.
Just improve the quality of that food a bit fellas.
Cheers
Jim

Called in with a friend whilst in London for something to eat and a brew. Nice atmosphere with bikes to look at and memorabilia on the walls. Nothing special happening but lots of events at other times. I had the ribs and chips and took 1 1/2 ribs home as I couldnt eat it all. My friend had the veggie chilli and he finished it but was stuffed. Both meals were really good, with reasonable prices and came on hot plates. No arty farty bollocks like other places do here, so perfect!! Used the toilets which were clean with 4, yes 4 rolls of paper on the wall in the cubicle!
Was well worth visiting and would recommend it to anyone. Pity it is in London as it is a bit far from Birmingham to use regularly but maybe they could open another one up here.
Will definitaly visit again even if I have to go out my way. Only three minute walk from Stonebridge Park tube station.

Just popped in for a bite to eat and to spend a small-fortune on T-shirts and other goodies to take back to Aus. Not cheap (My wife saw the spend on my card and thought that I'd bought dinner for everyone in the cafe!). Food was average, but that's not what you go for, or at least not me anyway.

Went here to meet friends, may 2019,the staff were busy talking in there native language. They wasn’t interested in taking our order, the food is bland and it was literally dropped in front of us on the plate, don’t know if it was a bad day (no terrible) but don’t take it out on customers, she then turned and talking loudly in her European voice to her colleagues then pointing to our table and then with a smirking grin on her face, her colleague brought the tea over 3/4 full in the cups, with disdain.went here 15 years ago,and it was great, the owners really need to train or be present on the premises to see what’s going on,will not be going back here for a long time, until I hear a positive feedback from my friends,I was truly let down by the workers and atmosphere of the service, such a shame that this British institution of motor bike history is being let down by the rude and unwelcoming staff.

Always wanted to taste this slice of history, ton up boys, mods n rockers etc....
I try to get to the Brighton bash often and have worn the t shirts with pride all over the world.
What a shame.
Food was the usual fare but the service was awful.
Was barked at by some abrupt woman in an eastern European accent instead of being served.
Also found myself in the middle of a staff argument while trying to buy some merchandise.
It was truly a let down.
This place is a frontrunner in British motoring history, why are the people here treating the public this way?
I didn't expect the Ritz......
I won't be going back or recommending it.

Come to the Ace about once a week but haven't eaten here for months as the food is so bad. Decided to see if it's any better and regrettably is not. My friends have often had to send back the food in the past. On this occasion I opted for the Manx kippers and two poached eggs which came to an overpriced £9.95. Kippers were so overcooked they were almost crisp. See attached photo. It will be many more months before I try the food again.

However as a meeting place it's up there with the best.

Popped in with French exchange student for late breakfast. He liked the almost museum like location with a full English. One of the few full meals he actually ate with us.

I have wanted to visit for a long time and when on the way to Wemley popped in for some breakfast. Its a good honest cafe. Great quality food, great service and some lovely Triumphs to look at!
Got myself a great t shirt too. So good I went again the week later!

We stayed in a hotel a couple of hundred metres from the Ace Cafe.
It as long been on my bucket list, living in Cumbria it's too far to travel for a Friday night out.
We were going to the Challenge Cup at Wembley and booked the Hotel without realising that the Ace Cafe was so close.
It did not disappoint, although we did not eat there we called in the morning and called back after the game.
It was Hot Rod and American car night and the car park was filling quickly with some very good looking vehicles.
It is everything I had expected, and we will be back.
Prices looked very good 2 brews £2.50 for London that's amazing.
