Address
Neighborhood: Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.

I must say we had a terrific time and no one lost their shirt !!! Rose and her fantastic team organised a private room with 3 tables and 3 dealers to play a tournament amoungst the 16 of us. Not only that , we had a dedicated waitress to serve and get us drinks and one of the finest buffets I've ever had... The evening went with a bang and everyone had a fantastic time.. I would love to thank everyone at The Vic that made this event a complete success..thank you again

Simply outrageous!
The team leader Thomaz made a "judgment call," denying me a drink while it was only my second drink at the bar.
Even after a lady behind the bar said out loud to him that he confused me for someone else, he still denied me the drink.
I asked for an explanation, and he could not give any to me but just addressed me to the manager ED.
Which still, he did not come out with an explanation except from the fact that Thomas was the team leader, and he made the call.
Shame for the management but confusing me for someone else is outrageous. I got denied the drink, and they ruined my evening.
Shout out to Constantinos; the bartender was incredibly professional.
I hope something similar won't happen to anyone, but knowing that such a company have incompetent management is simply shameful.

This has changed and it's gone down hill!! Been going for over 30 YEAR's!1 and they treat you as criminals asking all kind of question/bank statements etc, disgusting how they treat you!! its not their business where people get they money from to enjoy a night out! They are discriminationg against big players, and I don't think all those young arabs who can't even speak english can give them their personal financials.
Food is gone down the pot and expensive, and taste rubbish! I would boycott this casino as there are better ones, and they treat you with respect and more friendly.
Please do not go!! Bad experience and shameful!!

Very nasty poker room. It's very true that the regulars here hate new players. None of them have won anything in the major tournaments yet behave like they are the kings of poker. They spend their entire lives in this place just swapping chips with each other. If they spot a new player at the table they will collude and bully to get rid of them so they don't lose their precious stack to someone they can get it back from tomorrow. Customer service is okay but the atmosphere is very unwelcoming. Don't waste your money.

Visited this casino as have recently got into Poker. It was not a great experience. It has a regular clientele who are very protective of each other. I understand now that this is because they like to keep the chips moving amongst themselves. If a newcomer wins they might not get a chance to win the chips back.
I have since learned that the top players no longer play here as it is now considered a graveyard for failed gamblers.
If you check out their so called 'resident professional's' profile (KW) on Hendon mob you'll see that he has won zilch worth mentioning in the professional poker world. He even lost to a journalist who rightfully questioned the whole validity of the claim that poker is more skill than luck. What a joke.
Who are the management at this place? Time for some fresh blood both on and off the table. AVOID.

I travel and play poker all over the world. Not a pro but the highest ametur level there is.
The cards are small and blurry, the dealers are young, slow and dont control the table, the chips are too light and the tables are 1,000 years old.
On top of it all, the game is level 1 game, uninteresting and just super passive.
Nit nit nit and passive all the way. All in all combined - worst poker room ever played in.

Don't go! Just don't. My husbend Waited an hour for the poker table (commition is very high). I played the slot machines and lost a lot and the games were really boring and quite old fashioned. In addition, staff was extremely rude! Just do yourself a favoure and stay away!

I don't normally leave bad reviews on TripAdvisor, as I normally have a very high tolerance level for serving standard. I don't normally have very high exceptions so I won't be too disappointed. However, How the casino staff treated their customer is simply a shock to my nervous system.
Me and my mate went to The Vic last week for their £200 poker event. It was the hottest day recorded in the last 7 year according to met office. Therefore, I was in shorts. We drove in the heat for 4 hours to get there, however, without a standard greeting. The first thing I got from the staff when I went to the reception to ask about parking place was "Hi, You will gonna be let in the in those shorts." - Brilliant customer services. As my friend had a trousers they agree for us to park the car first and I will try to get a pair of Jeans or something around the casino - which I agreed to do as I understand it is my fault that I didn't know the dress code .
When we get to the car park - There was this Asian Looking car park assistant. No greeting as standard in this casino - start to interrogate us : " Are you members? You can not get in the casino in shorts" - Went a way for a bit and come back saying " What ARE YOU GONNA DO?What ARE YOU GONNA DO?What ARE YOU GONNA DO?" - Basically pressing us like we did the most ridiculous thing in the world. No signs of welcoming or trying to help out.
After we receive all the eye balls and attitude we " deserve" in the car park, they parked the car and went away to get Jeans. The area is a complete new place for us. We are struggle to find any clothes shop close to the casino. We was told to go to oxford circus. After a walk around and getting direction we still yet to find any shop. And both of us were completely put off going into that casino and play. So we went back to get our car. Then we were treated like criminals and accused of taking advantage of their free parking and telling us we will be banned from the casino if this happens again. (Which they know all we try to do is to get in the casino) We received even more offensive comments from the car park assistant and even more eye balls and attitude. It took them 20 mins to find our car. When we get out we felt like we just made a great escape. I have been to a lot of casinos around the country, many G casino as well. But none of these casino ever provide a such special experience with their great customer services.
From willing to spend hundreds of pounds in their casino to never want to go back there again, I just hope no one suffer like how we did.

Written October 17, 2018
Hi Coote,
We do have a car park which is situated under our casino. The entrance to this is in Brendon Street, this is for all customers while using the casino.
Regarding the poker schedule, i don't have a copy of December schedule as yet, i know there is a Deep Stack tournament that weekend.
If you call the poker room direct on 020 7298 2411 they will be able to email you the schedule if they have Decembers completed.
I hope this helps

Thinking of driving to you on bank Holliday Monday ..... 2 questions , can I have a post code or directions to your car park . And is there a risk it may be full ! Many thanks in advance
Written March 25, 2018
Hi John,
Thank-you for your message. The car park entrance is situated in Brendon Street, this runs alongside the casino. Brendon street is a one way street, so if you pass the front of the casino, you would need to take the 2nd left, then follow the block round.
You drive down into the car park, you will see a blue barrier, if you pull up to this, it opens automatically. It depends the time of day you would be looking at coming, as it gets busier later into the evening.
Many Thanks Vicki
