This was a fantastic morning. We came as a party of 5, including our German exchange student. Dave's itinerary and lively commentary gave us a completely new insight into the street art scene. We saw a huge variety of work in a relatively small area. Great photo opportunities for iPhone wielding teens. Highly recommended!

Me and my friend had been meaning to do this tour for ages and I am gutted it took us this long as the tour was fantastic. Dave was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the world of street art and you can tell he is truly passionate about it. The 3.5 hours went incredibly quickly and we saw some incredible... More

I have loved street art since I saw my first Banksy rat in 2004 but I had never been to Shoreditch or been on a street art tour. I'm so glad I found Dave's tour online. He was knowledgeable and passionate about street art -- by both London natives and international artists. I learned the difference between street art and... More

I'll be honest: I've always thought of street art as senseless graffiti, pointless acts of childish wannabe rebels. But that's until I met Dave and his tour. His excellent knowledge of the street artists as well as their motivations are a huge eye opener. More importantly, his detailed analysis on the art styles allowed me to understand a flicker of... I've been to quite a lot tours in my life, but this tour was definitely one of the best. Dave was professional, clear and precise delivering the right level of content, gave everything he could from himself and was a real pleasure and great value add to the tour. We couldn't have enjoyed Shoreditch at the same level without this... More

Taking part in Saturday's afternoon tour with Esther was the best time and money spent. I am interested in street art and visited Shoreditch many times before but had no idea how much more could I learn about the subject. Thanks to Esther's expert knowledge and enthusiasm I look at street art in different light and now notice more art... More

Great tour!! Exactly what I was hoping for! I took my little sister who is studying street art for her art GCSE. Thanks to Dave who managed to get a teenager so excited about street art that we watched the Bansky documentary and did even more research when we got home! Dave is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a great tour... More

Great tour, great guide to the outdoor gallery. Got to see street art that you wouldn't even know was there. Dave explains it with passion and keeps you engaged. Definitely recommend it as a good way to spend the morning or afternoon and get to see parts of London you otherwise wouldn't.

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
