We saw that this play had mixed reviews. We found 2 excellent actors using old fashioned stage craft. And the play was all the better for not having any technical gimmickry. Simple but effective scene changes. For 2 people who didn’t enjoy the film we...More

Was really excited to see this, I had heard prior that it was a three person cast so was intrigued as to how it was going to be done. The show was dull and it took forever to get to the actual story, the amount...More

Okay so i wasn't scared but I really enjoyed watching these excellent actors bring this story alive. My teenagers were scared. The woman on the row behind us screamed loud enough to make half the theatre jump and the other half burst out laughing. Cute...More

Very cleverly put together - don’t want to spoilt it for anyone, well worth seeing. Great little theatre perfect for this production.

This is a very atmospheric play that is superbly acted. More of a ghost story than a horror tale, it still makes you jump. It is well worth seeing This theatre offers day tickets.

This is a play with a very weak and convoluted story line. The actors were OK and tried hard but there was no suspense or surprises and the entertainment seemed to be based on loud, sudden noises. We had visited London for a day out and...More

A rather minimalistic interpretation of a classic ghost story, that relies mostly on the talent of the two lead actors and the imaginations of the audience. It's actually pretty successful, offering heaps of charm in the first half and some effective moments of atmospheric spook...More

I wasn’t sure if I would like this play after reading some of the reviews here. And I really wasn’t sure my husband would as he had never been to the theatre before! But we both loved it. It’s eerie, atmospheric, haunting and captivating. Brilliantly...More

Chilling and captivating. The portrayal of Mr. Kipps, both senior and junior was simply brilliant. Could not take my eyes away throughout the entire performance, though were times I wanted to, if you want to see a show this summer this has to be on...More

I would say a 12 and 14 year old should be fine it's jumpy scary in a good way not like graphic horror. My daughter was just 15 and she loved it. Such a clever play. Enjoy xx
