Neighborhood: Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.

Just came out of the retrospective exhibition of Yoshitomo Nara at the Dairy Art Centre - what an amazing artist!!
Nara is among the most important artists of our time and this is probably the best display of his art I've ever seen -- cleverly curated and well displayed in a wide well-lit art space.
An absolute must. Don't miss!

Discovered this gallery by chance as its hidden away in the heart of Bloomsbury - but take the time to go searching (nearest tube station is Russell Square) and you will not be disappointed.
Currently showing an exhibition of Julian Schnabel paintings which was great and unexpected as I only knew him from his film directing. The gallery is in a converted dairy, all white and start and all the betteer to see the work on show. There is a small outside courtyard and glass front door which is not the easiest to access but as there was a friendly receptionist on site this was not a problem.
Great gallery, looking forward to whatever they exhibit next.

Located in a former industrial dairy in Bloomsbury, this new art space is an ideal location to exhibit multi-media art works, such as those in the current John Armleder show. Tractor/truck wheels encase beautiful flowers both outside and inside the exhibition space, large scale "drip paintings" are a feast for the eyes and the retro collection of objects and film deserve more than a cursory visit. This is a fascinating show and is both awe-inducing and humorous. And when you have overloaded your senses at the Dairy, pop in to the wonderful remembrance gardens next to the Dairy and take a breath! The Dairy is the furthest thing from a stuffy museum that you could imagine and so, so worth a visit!
