1,260 reviews
Immerse yourself in Victorian London on this one-of-a-kind Jack the Ripper experience featuring RIPPER-VISION.™ Unlike other tours, your guide uses handheld projectors to accompany spine-chilling tales of the murders committed by Jack the Ripper in the 1800s. As you explore the dimly lit back streets of Whitechapel, images of Victorian London are projected onto buildings to guarantee a highly atmospheric experience. Plus, an evening departure time means you’ll experience London at its most mysterious.

Damp September afternoon and popped in to Camden bar for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Chilled atmosphere with attentive staff. Great choice of beer and whilst the food menu wasn’t extensive, there was still a good choice, which was prepared and served in good time - tasty and warming! Good hygiene and social distancing in practice throughout.

Had a lovely Sunday afternoon here. Greeted by a friendly masked staff member who clearly explained the measures in place, the track and trace and ordering to table app were really good and easy, felt very safe and reasonable. Really good gin and tonics & beers - the music selection was chill and the vibe throughout the venue was perfect for a lazy Sunday. Also, toilets are really clean and well stocked, which can be hard to find in venues around the area.

The guy at the door was wearing a ghoulish face mask which made communication with him difficult from the start. When asking him about the measures in place, and saying that I didn't think track & trace was mandatory as other pubs I've been in said it was voluntary, I felt he was very defensive and unprofessional in his response. He said I was wrong that track & trace was voluntary and rather than informing me of the policy he became agitated and argued with me about the current situation. It was a real disappointment for me as I love craft beer and used to really like The Brew Dog. After this experience though I won't be coming back. Please Brew Dog management think about the customer and ensure staff at the door are appropriately trained as the last thing I want when I go out to relax and have a drink or two with friends is to be insulted and made to feel very uncomfortable!

A beer for every tastebud, with all of BD’s big hitters there amongst lesser-known brews. Friday night was buzzing but plenty of staff serving behind the bar meaning there was minimal wait to be served.

This is a great pub serving good beer but the range of food sets it apart. Very good service and comfortable seating. And it’s just far enough away from Camden High Street to feel like a rest-bite from the chaos of plastic punks, tourists and cut and paste souvenir stalls. A great little oasis.
