I want to highly endorse Ms. Louise Chapman as an outstanding Blue Badge Tourist Guide for London, Hampton Court, Windsor, and other important historical and cultural sites in the United Kingdom. Knowing Louise since June 2017, I can enthusiastically vouch for the excellent quality of her work over several years. Louise in one of our guides annually for our summer National Security class we hold in London for Indiana University students and faculty. In short, Ms. Chapman is a true delight and one of the very best guides I have met in London or the rest of Europe as well. She carefully crafts a tour and lecture to the interests of her group and maintains excellent focus when guiding. She is always exceptionally well prepared and pleasantly communicates with her students both before, during and after guiding. In delivering her tours and lectures, Louise brings a cordial and interesting mix of superb interpersonal skills, a splendid grasp of history, and outstanding oral messaging. She is always clear, cogent, and concise and can rapidly focus on the relevancy of a topic, and readily explain it. Moreover, she possesses all the important character traits so important to this profession. I cite an affable, and charming personality, plus a good sense of humour. She truly cares about the students and faculty she hosts. But she greatly cares also about the important subjects she is discussing, accurately and interestingly bringing the past alive. Louise holds bachelors and master’s degrees and other important credentials; is fluent in foreign languages; and is the Site Liaison Officer for Bletchley Park for all U.K. Blue Badge Guides. Ms. Louise Chapman is a pleasure to work with and a guide I genuinely recommend you engage. You will receive an outstanding tour and lecture, presented in a kind and thoughtful fashion … which will be long remembered. William A. Foley, Jr., Ph.D., Indiana University

Louise Chapman was a true gem, a rare find. We recently travelled in a group of 9 (2 families) with varied interests and ages represented. Louise met us for The Changing of the Guard and The Tower of London on the first tour day and Westminster Abbey on the second. Her 1/2 day tours were Informative and well-paced. She inquired about the interests of the group and guided us appropriately. She is quick to respond to emails and very flexible in her planning. Touring with Louise is a fabulous way to take in the sites and learn the history of an amazing city. Thank you Louise!

From our first experience (booking Louise) to saying goodbye at the end of our Tour, Louise was amazing and can only be described as “Simply the Best”. I booked Louise to privately guide our son (and my wife) for the day around the key sights of London, it was our son’s first visit and we wanted to maximise his time in London. Louise offered suggestions and recommendations during the booking process, and tailored the day to match the things we both wanted our son to see and experience, and his interests, along with what she knew to be practical and reasonable to do in a day. My son and wife returned from the day and experience with nothing but glowing comments and praise for Louise’s knowledge, attention to detail, engaging style and customer service.

I did book a tour with Louise for my mother and her Husband to visit Westminster and the surroundings in March 2018. Her kindness, availability, and knowledge have blown my mother and her husband away. She was very flexible and happy to pick them at their hotel and took them back after the tour. The price for the tour was also good value for money. We highly recommend Louise and will definitely use her services again. Stéphane

Louise is a fantastic guide. We are a family of 5 and we met Louise in Trafalgar Square and strolled down towards Buckingham Palace to see the change of the guard. Louise knew the best place to get a view and also pointed out sights along the way including which royal lives where along with monuments. We saw the beautiful horses and then walked through the park (and got a special view of horses going through the park). We made our way to Westminster Abbey and got our tickets. Louise knew everything! She kept it interesting for the kids and helped us really see and appreciate this wonderful place. If you are going to London and want to learn all the special things the Abbey has, I would highly recommend booking Louise. My kids kept saying the rest of the trip when we went to museums that we had Louise with us! Tip: get tickets to see the jubilee exhibit upstairs. Tickets are timed. This really is a wonderful part of the Abbey. Be warned, there are a lot of steps!
