Neighborhood: Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.

You need to be broad minded, and laugh at life?
Nov 2021
Someone advised me they were glad they seen the show but would not like to go back. So unsure what it would be like and if my husband would like it. Paid an absolute fortune for the tickets and it was a great success with him, he laughed out loud so much, so it was worth it for him. I am a bit more resigned and thought a few times "how can they get away with saying these things", but I ended up really laughing too and would recommend going and will go back when it comes to Glasgow at cheaper prices to see it again. The songs are quite catchy and please just take it all as a laugh at life and a joke, don't take it too seriously or will not enjoy it.

The show should be called Fraud and Garbage!
Nov 2021
Absolutely the worse show I've (or we've) ever seen. I truly wish some how i could get our money back!
It slates religion and sexuality plus very explicit swearing.
Now before you think i'm a snowflake!
I swear using the F and C words continuously, i'm also an atheist before that word was ever invented!
I also have family that are gay and proud of it, and so am I!
It was abysmal so much so we didn't go back in after the interval, we went and boiled our heads instead!
Do yourself a favour go and see a 'normal' show in the west end plenty of great ones to choose from.

A great night out

How has this show not been closed down ? A fantastic nights entertainment from a super talented cast. Not for the easily offended or members of the later day saints.

Excellent! Cried with laughter

Cried with laughter from start to finish! Saw it for the second time last night and it was so much better than I remembered it. Crude and touches on some very dark topics, but so so funny

We walked out & got a refund: racist, sexist and old fashioned.
Nov 2021
On Tuesday night, we felt so uncomfortable watching Book Of Mormon, we had to walk out in the interval, after witnessing the horrific racism that is throughout the show.

I'm shocked and appalled that this play is still allowed on stage. Particularly after the script was supposedly re-written to make it more appropriate. I dread to imagine how it was before!

This display of racist slurs, jokes, and misrepresentation of Ugandans plays directly into our terrible colonial past. We live in London, one of the World's multi-cultural centres; and it's 2021! A year after the BLM movement. We should be more united than ever, not using a play as an excuse for a majority white audience to laugh at racist jokes.

Absolutely wonderful from start to end. People thinking it’s racist and promotes “baby rape” have missed the point entirely. What else were you expecting from the creators of South Park? Snowflakes and prudes should give it a miss, otherwise, if you have a sense of humour this is a must see

Base level stereotype humour
Nov 2021 • Couples
This play covers all the off-limit topics and encourages you to laugh at its take on sexism, racism, baby raping, genital mutilation, homophobia etc etc The problem is much of it is really base level stereotype humour that might be shocking and funny the first time you hear it but the same jokes are repeated over and over again. It’s difficult to perceive the jokes as a bit ‘tongue in cheek’ however humorously they’ve delivered because it’s so ‘in your face’. Don’t get me wrong, I had some really good laugh out loud moments and a lot of the audience seemed to be laughing. The characters are brilliant and I enjoyed the music but I can’t help but think this play is a bit outdated for an audience in 2021. It’s not the woke brigade speaking here and I don’t feel a need to be politically correct, I really wanted to love this show after waiting years to see it. Maybe the genius in it is that it makes you reflect on your own opinions and why you’re laughing? Or maybe I just don’t find genetically mutilation, racist stereotypes or baby raping very funny! Either way, I reckon its days are numbered with the script as it is - and whatever you do, don’t take your mother-in-law along!

Crude and unfunny content, disturbing, wish I’d saved my miney
Oct 2021 • Friends
Not a prude but laughing about gays, raping babies and female genital mutilation is not acceptable. I found some of it funny but most of it extremely uncomfortable. Wish I’d either read more about it beforehand or left at the interval

Deliciously rude!
Jul 2020
If you are easily offended this is not the musical for you. However if you have a broad mine you will find it absolutely hysterical. It deals with every known perversion yet it is so clever and the music is so brilliant that it's no wonder it wins the Tony awards. Quite simply it is very very clever but do not take your maiden aunt!
