This was our first guided tour in London, so we hoped it would be good. But it was even better than that!! Our guide Ariane was absolutely amazing. She knows a lot about Harry Potter and London itself. She is really enthousiastic, funny and a real pleasure to listen at. The tour normally lasts approximately 2h15 but tonight it took... More

I really enjoyed the Tour. Our tourguide was Colin. He showed us so many details and told us interesting stories about the Street Art of London. You shouldn't miss this.

Our tour guide was splendid. She know so many wonderful historic stories about London and the tour was all together designed superbly. The tour guide gave us tons of tips for how to get the best out of London: best places to eat, pubs, and how to get cheap theater tickets. All of it came in very useful.

I had a great time on this tour has everything you want in a tour - great value (you decide how much you want to tip), you learn lots of interesting facts and you can tick off a lot of the classic London sites in around 2 hours. Our tour guide Margaret was really friendly and helpful.

This was our 1st ever visit to London and walking tour. We loved every bit of it! Margaret was superb as she kept us entertained with stories and valuable information. We walked through all the historical sights. You can ask Margaret anything about London, she's a walking city map ;) . Try it and you won't regret it. Thank you... More

As a surprise, my wife booked us the Jack the Ripper tour starting at Aldgate. Our guide for the evening was Jessica. The tour itself is very interesting of course, but Jessica made it an amazing tour! We highly recommend going on this tour with her.

We pre-booked this tour starting from Aldgate East tube on Friday. Colin Dear met us and about 20 other people and guided us expertly around some awesomely created art in the Brick Lane area. We were astonished by the quality of the art and thoroughly appreciated the information provided by Colin , our guide. The tour needs to be pre-booked,... More

Colin lead us on a tour of London's East End, focusing on street art. He discussed the history of that community in London, as well as the history of street art. We stopped at multiple spots to look at some of the street art, and Colin talked about the various artists and their global reach. Before this tour, I had... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
