The Duchess is a really lovely theatre with kind and friendly staff. Wheelchair access was via a special “stair climber” to the back of the stalls, but as the theatre is quite small this was an excellent place to see the play (‘The Play That Goes Wrong’, which was the funniest play we have seen for years). Dedicated wheelchair toilet on this level. Highly Recommended Theatre.

We went to see the Play That Goes Wrong on Friday. Play was so good! The theatre is lovely, quiet small, but it was perfect. We had seats at the front of the dress circle, plenty of leg room and great view. Staff were friendly, hardly any queues for drinks or the loo.

The play that goes wrong/ The play that makes you laugh all night long…
Very easy to get to, arrived at Waterloo, crossed the bridge and it’s 5 minute walk.
I’d suggest getting there early or at least be seated and settled before the play begins as there’s some interesting dialogue (don’t want to spoil it 😁)
If you’ve already read reviews telling you how funny it is, they are all spot on.
Many people got the giggles and couldn’t stop in between one joke to the next haha.
This was the first play I’ve watched that made me for who I’d gone with let alone who I was sitting next to. I even forgot the pain in my my foot when someone stood on it, the large bruise I now have is proof haha.
Seriously though if you get a chance to see this play and in need of a good laugh you won’t be disappointed.
Great cast, great performance 👏👏👏
I hope you all enjoy 😂😂😂👏👏👏👍

Excellent venue, comfortable seats and no bad view in the house. Pretty easily to get to from Temple underground station, plenty of bars/restaurants in the local vicinity to make a night of it. The only slight (expected) negative is London bar prices. We saw The play that goes wrong, a very very funny show

This is quite a small theatre probably seating no more than 250 people. Facilities are okay, Small bar area that can get very busy but overall very good experience.

Charming old London theatre and excellent modern service. We were under some stress as some of our party were delayed with the tickets last night (14/8/21). Young woman managing the arrivals outside the theatre was busy, but calm, helpful, intelligent. Contained and resulted the situation for our party and the other arrivals. Most impressive.

We were in London for a paid meal so decided to see a show. We went to the theatre to see what was available and ended up seeing The Play that goes Wrong. It was brilliant. Still had Covid restrictions which included no snacks so we could get a drink but not food which was a disappointment but not insurpassable as we just got food on the way home 😂

I saw The Play That Goes Wrong here. The show was one of the funniest plays I've ever seen - pure entertainment. It's a comfortable theatre -much more legroom than most of the old West End theatres, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Covid measures seemed efficient e.g. one way system, temperature testing, mask wearing, plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers.

Booked to see Cruise the play and yet again Nimax theatres have done an excellent job to kee everyone safe during these times of restrictions.
Very well organised and everyone contributed to a great experience.
Sat front row and unlike some Westend stages, it wasn’t so high that the view was obstructed or gave you neck ache.
Rebooked for this theatre again in November.

Great play “The play that goes wrong”. Really clever and funny, almost panto style. Nice theatre, good view, comfy seats. Ice creams were a bit solid but apart from that a great experience. Arrive early for some pre play cast interaction.
