No Hot Food!
Mar 2019 • Solo
The old Haymarket cinema used to have great food. On my latest visit since the refurbishment, I was informed that hot dogs are no longer available and the cinema now only sells popcorn or those silly, tastless crisp things that you have to dunk into messy sauce containers. Uurgh! What a horrible sticky mess that looked.
I didn't let them beat me though, I went to the other odeon on the square, purchased a hot dog and took it back to the Haymarket.
I don't know anyone who doesn't like a hot dog when they're watching a film at the cinema, so why the Odeon has stopped selling them at this cinema is anyone's guess. I certainly won't be going there again. Horrible place! Such a shame as it used to be such a happy cinema with staff who were always willing to help.

The small screen review
Jul 2018 • Solo
Went to see Mission Impossible today.
Paid my 18 quid which is at the upper end for tickets in London.
The movie was on screen 2.
Walked into the theatre to find a pathetic screen size not much bigger than some large TVs, ok perhaps a bit bigger but not by much.

Large scale movies with well done CGI and spectacular FX need an BIG screens not tiny toy screens to do them justice.

More fool you if you paid top price to watch a major movie in this horried little room.

A new experience
Jul 2018 • Couples
It was the first time that we had visited a luxe cinema, didn’t really know what to expect. There are a few rooms with screens in showing different films. The rooms are fairly small. The seats recline just like those in a first class flight. There is a table for drinks and food. The air conditioning was just right, not too hot nor too cold. Brilliant sound and a good screen. Perfect comfort. We didn’t partake of any food because it’s not of the type of food that I eat! The ice creams were good. It was a very comfortable experience to view the new Mama Mia film. I guess the only negative is when there is a line in a film which is funny then one is laughing on ones own and not part of a large audience.

Never again
May 2018 • Couples
Went here for my boyfriends birthday as it as meant to be a supposed luxe cinema. However on arrival it is very small which is fine however on there website it does state they do everything a normal cinema does eg hot Dogs, tango ice blasts and then they advertised a Coca Cola machine which is different flavours. However this is not the case when we asked for ice blasts or a hot dog an older Asian gentleman (wasn’t wearing a name tag) laughed in our face and said popcorn or nachos and was quite rude.

The nachos were ok but the popcorn was dry stale and was salt even though I asked for sweet.

The cinema seats are very nice and comfortable. The screens are very intimate also.

When I made a complaint to odeon they said there was nothing they could do basically so am very upset as an avid odeon customer I am very dissapointed and will be using other cinemas in future.

Beautiful gem of a cinema, 4 small screens with reclining seats! Idea to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main Leicester Sqaure

You get what you pay for
Feb 2017 • Couples
The tickets are cheaper compared to Cineworld or the much expensive Vue. But you kind of feel its probably cheaper because Odeon doesn't care to even clean the theatre properly!! The premier seats are in the middle rows and in no way better than the unreserved standard seats. The seats were dirty and the toilets were average too. on the whole, it was an a very 'ok experience'.

Spectre at Odeon
Nov 2015 • Friends
Watched Spectre here. Cinema hall is huge but seats are not comfortable and some how had the sense that it was not being properly looked after. At the end we some how come near Fire exit and to our horror it was locked as it was encroached upon by homeless from outside. I feel they can improve upon a lot if they wish to.

Outstanding cinema experience. This is what film and audience is all about. Quality never goes out of style. Besides all this magnificence, the staff helped us deposit our bags during the show and more.

We went to see a film here not long ago and although the cinema was quite tatty the members of staff were quite helpful and friendly. The sound and picture quality was quite good and we enjoyed the film.
