Whilst I have been using a DSLR for a while, I took the beginners course to grasp a clear understanding of all the camera functions. I am glad I've taken the course as I have walked away learning a lot from this course. Plenty of practical and also had opportunity to ask question on 121 basis.…

My fiancee and I booked the travel photography class with Roland for March this year and unfortunately we had to reschedule due to COVID. Firstly, Roland was really accommodating in rearranging the date and he ended up meeting us on a new weekend in October where we were the only two people booked on. The day itself was fantastic. We were both newbies with our DSLRs and were very much stuck on 'auto' setting mode. The class was so informative and we both felt that we learnt a huge amount and it's really made us excited to get out and start using our cameras more now that we're confident on being able to use fully manual settings. Roland was such a friendly chap and tailored the course to talk about how to take photos on some of the trips we told him that we had planned. This made the session felt really personal and the day flew by. It was a great mix of learning theory and then applying it in practice. Getting to visit a few locations in London to try out different techniques was also fantastic. I'd highly recommend booking one of these courses for anyone interested in learning how to use their cameras properly. It was clear how passionate Roland was and he sent us over a really useful PDF for us to use after the session containing all of the info he had taught on the day. 5 stars, an absolutely cracking day!…

Great session, super productive. We learned the theory and also complemented this with some very cool exercises. We were able to get short periods of one-on-ones with Roland, which always gave very useful feedback.

We had a very good Canon camera for years which I didn’t really know how to use apart for just automatic functions. The course gave me exactly what I was looking for: a good understanding of all the main functions as well as a deeper knowledge of how to use the manual function of the camera to be able to be creative as well as doing beautiful pictures (for travels for ex.) I am delighted with what I have learnt and the practical side of the course makes it really fun. You come back so enthusiastic and ready to put in practice your new skills! Thank you Roland for their great experience! I hope I can do more sessions of other topics.…

I have to say the course was great, I would definitely recommend it, I was on the Travel Photography course, and our instructor was Roland, a great guy attentive and a great teacher! I am not a total newbie when it comes to photography but I still got a lot out of the course, even when Roland was showing us the basics I learned some new stuff I didn't know, I guess some things you just have to be taught in person, Roland was great any questions you had he was happy to answer and show, if you had any technique questions he would go through it with you. I really enjoyed going round some of Londons landmarks and taking pictures with Roland guiding us and showing us how he would take the pictures. Composition was one of the things I was struggling with a little and seeing Roland taking pictures of the same things as I did and then comparing was really helpful.…
