Neighborhood: Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

Another nice church in the Pimlico area. Sits beside St.Georges Square. Clean and nice spire. Recommended

I called into St Gabriel's Church as it was my childhood church. There was a Christening on the day I went .
Met the Vicar who was lovely to me and listened to my memories from the Fifties .
I walked round taking pictures of the church which had beautiful stained glass window above the Altar with painted murals to the side .There was another stained window above door but the windows each side were destroyed in WW2.Striking looking Organ ,Pulpit, and Lecture make this A lovely peaceful church to visit when in area. Check opening times on Website.

Walked from my hotel to visit. Didn't stay too long. Doesn't draw you in like some churches. I walked around and left.

Very well preserved local church in a pretty setting at the top of St. Georges Sq.
I attended a Baroque music concert here by a travelling company of French classical singers and musicians. The atmosphere and acoustics were surprisingly good as was the concert. Not as grand as some churches but very accessible. Would recommend for quiet meditation in charming Pimlico.
