As my boyfriend an I were walking through the soho area we wanted to check out some bars. We came across this one and several people were outside smoking, seemed like a local chill bar.
When we walked in the bar was directly in front with plenty of stand around space. There were also booths all around too for sitting.
This was by far the cheapest bar we went to while in London. I felt a super relax vibe and it seemed like everyone had been there before, I liked it.
The bartender was an older gentleman, who was grumpy, and I loved every second of it. He was attentive and fast and didn’t waste any time with small talk. I highly suggest checking this place out while bar hopping through soho.

Great gastropub, amazing location friendly stuff and delicious grub. Their combo with the other restaurants in the building is top notch. If you guys see the review keep in mind that you should be better at stocking those delicious sausage rolls! Two times recently I wanted to swing by and have some and you were out. Victims of your own success I guess, would take a point down for that

What a great place - great selection of drinks and bonus - they have an amazing restaurant downstairs with limited seating and a chef that is always changing the menu.. Highly recommend

Excellent food assembled in front of you by the chef in an exclusive private cellar bar. It’s very cosy and the service and atmosphere sets of the high standards of the menu served with a glass of champagne and then red or white wine which is topped up constantly by Jen. Customer service and friendliness of staff makes this an incredible experience! Would definitely recommend coming here for a special occasion, a treat for that special person or just an indulgent dinner.

Great little find. We had some time spare before our dinner reservation at the Palomar and The Blue Post was right next to the restaurant.

Drinks are priced well for 'London'. Option to sit at the bar or one of their intimate high tables which are dotted around the windows of the room.

Great interior, a proper pub. Great history to the name and amazing and friendly staff.

If you want a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a good selections of wine, craft beer and cask ales. I would always recommend this place.

To say there are no frills is an understatement but that's the charm of this historic Soho pub, like walking into the Winchester arms from TV show minder decor wise . But great for that and therefore popular with local workers more than tourists.
Great atmosphere on a Friday night particular if you want to enjoy the genuine soho after work boozer vibe.
One of the dwindling number of Soho old school pubs that's left , have a beer before another slice of London history goes down to developers .

Visited the Blue Posts with friends for first time last February. My friends have been regular patrons there for over 10 years. They told me the pub just had a makeover. I was pleasantly surprised by the modern decor, but more so by the attentiveness of Roxy, the host, and even the security guard was very helpful in finding us a table. We tried some bites with our drinks and I must say I loved the freshly made sausage roll, the anchovy soldiers and the mushroom pate’ with almonds. I wanted really to try the whole menu, and that was not even the main dining menu, which is served upstairs. Well done to the owners and staff for a great make over. I’ll be back! Like Arnie.

We had thirty minutes to wait before our table was ready at a nearby restaurant and, to be honest, we almost stayed in the Blue Posts instead. It was busy but not rammed and had a good selection of drinks. Best of all was the excellent service. Would definitely go again.

Just off of a little street in Chinatown, The Blue Posts was a lovely little find. Timed perfectly we managed to get a table near the bar, which very quickly filled up. Great selection of beers and nice cider on tap, all reasonably priced. Would stop in again
