Thus used to be a fantastic place for foot ball fans and visitors , but sadly it’s not there anymore. The site has been redeveloped into housing colony

After wanting to visit this stadium for years i finally made it to one of the last games before it was knocked down. Great atmosphere that you don't get in modern stadiums, it will be missed

I miss this magnificent ground
I managed most home games through the 80's paid with my paper round money. After many generations of my family going it was finally my turn My first game was Millwall around 1976 cant remember the score but i do remember the big white horse that stood on my toe as the old bill was using it to get everybody in a single file line before we hit the turnstiles.
I even go to say i missed the porta cabin club shop... As most of you who maybe reading this we have all seen west ham greats play here
The atmosphere was tremendous as well as as ball play well most of the time... Yes we have moaned and rejoiced
But it will always be part of me

I miss the Boleyn Ground, original home of West Ham United! Was a real fortress with excellent atmosphere. 5 minutes walk to Upton park tube station. Local Pie and Mash, cafes, and pubs!

It's a shame the Hammers aren't still playing here. Great place to watch a football match. Really wish I had time to take a tour.

Match night was always electric here, whoever you supported. Good facilities and history of which made the football great. Was always close to the action.

Great atmosphere! Fine memories. Missing stadion already... New era to come. These colours don't run. Been here many times, never dissapointed. Atmosphere is always good and " friendly" in east london, keep on rockin' despite of going to new stadion. Never surrender.. Go west ham

One of the last greats

Home of the hammers, one of the last great traditional grounds left in top flight football. Located in one of the most vibrant and down to earth places in London, full of local characters. Try and get to Upton Park before it finally closes its doors, it'll be sorely missed. COYI

RIP Boleyn Ground 1904 - 2016
Jun 2016 • Solo
For 112 years the Boleyn Ground aka Upton Park has been the home of West Ham Utd. It was my first and last time I’ll see the old ground before its demolished later this year, turned into housing and a supermarket when the team take up their new residency at the Olympic Stadium.

The farewell tour took in the Chairmen’s suite, both home & away dressing rooms and actually onto the hallowed turf. It didn’t really matter that the club’s memorabilia had all but been removed because the tour guides (ex-Hammers keeper Phil Parkes & striker Alan Taylor) regaled some amusing anecdotes of their time in the team. The best bit of the tour was being allowed a final kick-about on the pitch.
