The area
Address
Neighborhood: Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
How to get there
  • Southwark • 6 min walk
  • Waterloo • 8 min walk

Don’t recommend, sadly.

Tablets on table don’t work properly. Bartender with dark curly hair rude and doesn’t seem to care. Such potential but wasted! :(

Rare dog-friendly Southbank (Blackfriars) pub
Aug 2021
What a great pub! About the only one I could find that allows dogs inside in the London Bridge-Blackfriars area. Warm greeting from the bar staff, who brought water for the dog, and a decent wine list, food brilliant - nandos with chilli beef perfect , toilets clean and not cramped, Highly recommended if you are in the area.

A lovely pub, with best staff members!

Went here with family, including a young baby the service was fantastic and the man (Staff member didn't take name) was very polite. He also made sure that the services was okay. He even took us in with a young baby at the time and the upstairs area he made sure no one went up made it a private area. Thanks again!!

I was Stone Cold Stunnered when the under cooked steak turned up! The chef has really hit Rock Bottom.

DISGUSTING Plastic Pizza, missing ingredients, good menu ideas but BAD COOKS.
Jun 2020
When we first saw the menu we were on cloud 9.
But even eventually after tasting the food we were down to hell.

We ordered a pizza with blue cheese and pistachio and with no exageration we spent 10 minutes searching for it with no success.

For the 2nd pizza, the cheese was so burnt and disgusting that at the end of my lunch I had a sore jaw.It was IMPOSSIBLE to chew and swallow that plastic cheese.

I am deeply sorry cause the flavors were really attractive.
Needless to say that we will never order again any time soon.

Great burgers
Jul 2020
Nice pub, good food, pleasant staff. Dead easy to order, scan the QR code on your table, select what you want and its brought to your table. The burger was of a very high standard, close to that of the much more expensive one from Hawksmoors.

A good night out
Feb 2020
We spent an evening in this pub, they have an interesting i pad ordering system which is different , and you can pull your own pint at the table. We just had drinks and played darts. One of the darts flights were broken but that didn't stop out enjoyment. We had a great night, the staff were fine and the atmosphere was welcoming and fun.

Deep Fried Pickles

Nice pub, staff were (still are hopefully) friendly and the ten quid lunch and a drink deal was good value. Would certainly recommend the frickles but not if you’re one of those people that lob gherkins out of cheeseburgers.
