I booked a virtual cooking class with Rachel for my team and she was a real pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and wishes, which made organizing the event quite simple. During the class, she explained everything very well and taught us knife and other skills along the way. The food was delicious and I will definitely be making all of the dishes again. I can only recommend booking a class with Rachel!

I really loved Rachel's Zoom class on Sunday. It was great fun, I learnt a lot and had a delicious meal at the end. Rachel was absolutely brilliant throughout - very clear and organised so that a novice like me felt in control! She was also very helpful beforehand advising on alternative ingredients as I have certain intolerances, and afterwards when I had some queries. I look forward to joining in with future classes and highly recommend them to others.

Thank you for the lovely review. I'm so pleased that we could tailor the class to what you can eat, and that you enjoyed it all. The frangipane looks beautiful! Thanks for the recommendation and I hope we can cook together again soon!

We had such a fun evening with Rachel. She took the time to ask what we wanted to get from the lesson and we chose the menu together. The evening flew by as we went through each course, learning new skills as we progressed. Rachel is patient, calm and a great teacher, and the food we made together was extremely tasty - I was really proud of myself. She also gave us tips for other techniques and dishes and we had a great time together. I would happily recommend Rachel’s Kitchen to learn new skills, socialise and relax - whether a couple, with friends or colleagues. We’ll be back.

Absolutely brilliant. We took part in Rachel's Mulled Wine & Mince Pies virtual cooking class for our work Christmas party and we all loved it. Rachel sent through a full ingredient and equipment list well in advance of the session, offering alternative suggestions for those who required it. She was then very attentive and clear with instructions throughout the class, giving great advice even through a camera lens! Great fun, learnt a new skill and got to enjoy delicious food and drink at the end of it!

This is a must-do with a great gang of girlfriends. Rachel is an absolutely delightful host and chef. She walks you through each step of a recipe armed with loads of helpful preparation and cooking tips to make life easier. The recipes prepared by those in attendance for the evening. The food was amazing, simple but extremely tasty.

Lovely class for all ages and abilities. As an absolute novice I a little nervous before the lesson but Rachel put us all at ease and there were lots of opportunities to ask questions or slow things down. Immediately after the class, I served up the food to my family. Best of all, they were very impressed by the final results!

I had a great day making sushi with my two sons aged 8 and 11! Great venue and Rachel was a great, patient teacher! We enjoyed it so much we will be attempted to make sushi unaided for Fathers Day! I really fun day out I cannot recommend it highly enough!

My partner and I took my twin boys (11) for a 3 hour private cooking session, held by Val in Rachel's kitchen. Place was easy to find, about 8 min walk from East Finchley tube. The kitchen was nice, light, spacious - semi professional set-up, like a cross between home & restaurant.

My aim was to broaden the palate of the boys, so we chose Vietnamese as something new. 3 courses, summer rolls, Tom Yum type soup and a slow cooked beef dish. At the end you get the printed recipes.

The whole experience was very good, the boys tried food they normally wouldn't and the process of preparing and cooking it brought them "closer" to the dish. Val paced the whole thing well , between prepping, cooking, eating. The soup and the beef stew were outstanding, def. will cook them again, full of flavour and better than anything I've eaten in a Vietnamese restaurant. In summary, great experience for everyone and highly recommended as a family outing.

I booked a private class with Rachel for me and my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and learn together a few more recipes to add variety to our evening meals.

Rachel was very attentive from the very first email and phone call. She asked for our preferences and needs, and she put together a number of recipes to choose from. To be fair, all of the recipes she suggested were interesting and different, so we were spoilt for choice and just decided based on what we never tried to cook before.

During the class, Rachel was very patient (especially with me, as I am not very good at slicing onions or vegetables) and taught us a lot of things, while also giving us other ideas of ways to change the same recipe. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and just amazing to be around!

We both felt very energised after the class (and tasting what we made, which was pretty good) and we know that now we/I have no more excuses to cook always the same thing!

Totally recommend to try a private class with Rachel if you like me need an extra kick to get out of your comfort zone and start cooking something new.
