It was a nice experience I have been wanting to visit since I moved to London. I expected it would be more expensive but it wasn't. Went on a relatively foggy day so there was no queue. The fog did obscure some of the views, yet Canary Wharf was visible and it was still a spectacular view. I have walked... More

This cable car is seriously high, and I have been skiing a few times, so like to think I know what I am talking about ! Good for photos of the Thames and an overall view of the area, and the 300 foot elevation was more or less as high as I wanted to be thanks! The other side of... More

Travelled over to 02 on cable car views were great and as it was in the evening they play tranquil music it really is a joy such a shame we had to get off as I could quite happily have stayed on for several trips

For a much cheaper ride than the London Eye, you get a birds-eye view of the docklands area and a quite interesting commentary while you cross the Thames from Excel to the 02.

For anyone looking for a teen friendly activity that causes the device to temporarily return to a pocket, this worked for me. And unlike the boats or the slide at the Olympic park, you won't need hundreds to manage it. £3.50 seemed extremely reasonable considering how much the slide and the Thames boats are.

I'm not a big fan of cable cars but my daughter persuaded me to do the one way trip from the Excel centre to the O2 arena and I'm glad I did. The one way charge is £3.50 and you can pay with your Oyster or contactless card so don't bother queuing for tickets unless you want the Discovery package.... More
