The area
Neighborhood: Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

Good cinema, shame for the one only bar
Sep 2021 • Couples
Beautiful and clean cinema, I wish the other bars were open instead of having to q at the entrance for snacks and drinks and walking long way for screens

Worth the steep price
Sep 2021 • Family
My son wanted to see the 4DX movie Shang-Chi. I had no idea what to expect and I had no idea what 4DX means. I was a bit thrown off by the price at the box office, but happily surprised after watching the movie. It was more like an amusement park ride with a movie playing at the same time. The entire experience was worth the high price … great movie and great 4D special effects to add a new element to movie watching. It wouldn’t be something I would do often, mostly because the cost is ridiculously high. So, if you have the option to see an action packed movie at a 4DX theater you should definitely go.

Poor staff
Jun 2021 • Family
There is only so much attitude you can take for someone that is clearly half your age. Employing children to meet and greet the public is probably the worst possible thing a company can do, because they have no idea how to act body language like they have been dragged up (this is a male "manager" by the way). Talking over you so that there basically saying there point and views are clearly more important and valid than yours. Hated the whole experience wouldn't dream of going back unless they had real quality workers that knows how to be polite and welcoming and also weren't on the most pointless power trip.... #DONTBEAGEORGE

Won’t return
Jun 2021 • Family
We was waiting 40 minutes to get served for refreshments and there was only 2 people in front of us! They had sold out of nachos, salted popcorn, frozen drinks and the coffee machine wasn’t working. The lady serving us told us it had been this way all week. We visited Ona. Saturday so surely 6 days is long enough to get deliveries in! The downstairs toilets stunk I nearly threw up. We was on screen 6 (upstairs) the escalators and lift was out of order so we had to walk up the fire escape and there was sooo many stairs! The upstairs toilets were much cleaner and the cinema was comfy. The upstairs snack counter was closed which made no sense considering how long it was taking to get served downstairs.

Unclean seating area.
Feb 2020 • Couples
Went to Cineworld O2 while waiting for daughter who was attending concert. Saw film in screen 10. Seating was comfortable and lots of leg room.
BUT
The floor/seats were in a disgraceful state. Popcorn and drinks containers all over the floor and much worse, stuck down the backs of seats and in the seat drinks holders.
Surely if doesn’t take much to clean the area between films to make it a better experience for the viewer.
Would think twice about viewing a film at Cineworld if this is the approach they take at one of their premium sites.

Worst cinema experience ever
Dec 2019 • Couples
The worst cinema experience ever. Went yesterday and the heating was off, so it was like watching a movie on the street, so cold and uncomfortable. Never experienced something like that. The movie was great at least.

I Love this cinema but the queues drive me INSANE!!!!
Oct 2019 • Couples
I have to complain about the queues at this cinema otherwise nothing will ever change.

On a saturday night the queues are so long you are at risk of missing the beginning if your film in the persuit of popcorn and a drink.

The staff are lovely, especially the two young men on the second floor on the eve of 5th oct 2019, who worked so hard as a team to serve everyone. The cinema is really under staffed on a saturday night and they need to sort that s**t out coz it makes the cinema experience a real stres fest for everyone!

Make sure u have lots of time before your film starts.
