About Karl Marx The Walking Tour
Karl Marx lived and worked in London. His ideas inspired protests, strikes, rebellions, revolutions, terrorism, warfare, struggles for freedom, democracy and liberty, and regimes of tyrannical repression. Marx’s story combines comedy, tragedy, love, hate, hope and despair. This sets the backdrop to an intellectual expedition to unravel the mysteries of history, politics, economics and philosophy. We walk you through the life and ideas of Karl Marx. Sundays 11am Piccadilly Circus in front of Criterion Theatre.

This 2 hour tour gave a good overview of Karl Marx in London. Great for all the family, not too much walking. The tour guide was excellent and made the experience totally worth while.

..go for this walking tour and one magnificent museum. London has more impressive institutions than a dog has fleas, but this tour was a delightful change of pace and perspective. Just strenuous enough, and engaging at so many levels.

Our guide Heike did a brilliant job of summarising the life of Karl Marx, stopping off around Soho at relevant places to illustrate his points. Though there was a lot to learn, it was condensed down really well and made entertaining by someone who obviously...More

We start in Piccadilly walk around Soho and end up, usually, in the British museum. Each guide takes a slightly different route.
