Rude people and lousy food.

Avoid as you will be spoken to as if you are a being thorough nuisance especially if you want food. When it eventually arrives it is poorly cooked. Note don't lean on the table, it will be sticky, not clean, the same as the floor.

Great pub
Oct 2018 • Couples
Wonderful pub with a nice variety of beers and ciders. The acceptance and overall atmosphere is amazing. Nice music too. Upstairs is fun to sit down while having a drink.

Great drop in at the Market
Aug 2019 • Couples
Was wondering thru the market and stumbled into their wonderful pub. Service was awesome and friendly. Menu solid and wide selection. Beer wide selection as well of taps. Restroom downstairs and free water for anyone who jumps in.

Best full English breakfast
Jun 2019
Visited here yesterday with my dad for a Father’s Day brunch. We got the Nicholson breakfast. 2 for £13! It was the best full English we’ve had in a long time. Staff very friendly and the price for how much you get on your plate was brilliant especially for London. Will definitely visit again next time we’re in London.

Great Location - Close To Theatres
Dec 2018 • Solo
Ate here before going to the theatre. Dinning room upstairs is quite lovely and the food was delicious. Had fish and chips and the piece was very large, moist and flaky. Highly recommend. Price is very reasonable.

Great place to eat
Jan 2019 • Friends
Ate here before going to the theatre. Dining room upstairs is a nice venue. Staff attentive and food very good. We were meeting a relative that we hadn’t seen for several years so in no hurry and we were never put under any pressure to leave even though they were busy. Certainly can recommend eating here as close to theatres.

We stopped for drinks before a show & were pleasantly surprised. The costs were reasonable & our drinks, both alcoholic & non, were excellent.

Good Choice...
Sep 2018 • Couples
We stopped by here to eat after sightseeing by the river. We got seated upstairs, which was lovely. It is a cozy, classic dining room with a great view. The waitstaff was good if not a little quirky. We started with a mozzarella/tomato appetizer which was very good. I had the Hunter's Chicken, which is chicken topped with bacon and cheese, fries and salad. My husband had fish and chips. Both meals were very good, made with fresh ingredients and nicely prepared. The fries were just great, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I had a good glass of a classic white wine. Fairly priced. I would recommend this pub.
