    Awesome Time!
I had an absolute blast here. It’s a guaranteed fun time and cheap! I ended up losing my wallet, which was devastating at the time. However, it was quickly found by the owner without anything missing, who very kindly came in on her day off to get it back to me! Even if my wallet was permanently lost I would still keep coming back because it was such good fun!

Highly recommend The Swan for a truly London experience!
My wife and I recently stopped into The Swan on holiday in London. The pub is situated well, near Hyde Park and Oxford Street and close to our accommodation near Bayswater Station. We had breakfast, and are both with special needs, namely gluten-free and vegetarian. We really enjoyed our experience here! The pub is beautiful, staff is friendly, lovely decor, and fresh flowers, we could not have enjoyed it more. Highly recommend The Swan!

Peace and quiet away from the city crowds. Great food and good beer…..
We ended up eating at The Swan twice almost by accident. The first time we ate lunch after getting fed up of the crowds in the city. Walking back to our hotel from the Tube we passed this pub. We took a chance, went in and sat down. There’s a good choice of beers at the bar. The porter went down too well. We both chose steak from the lunch menu. Both were cooked well and came with chips, mushroom, and salad. Neither of us had anything to moan about. The next morning we’d already decided to have breakfast at The Swan as the breakfast we’d had the day before at our hotel didn’t even reach the level of average - it was bad. However, breakfast at The Swan was a different story, From the menu we both chose the full English. You get a real plate full of quality food. - bacon, sausage, beans, black pudding, grilled tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms and your choice of eggs and toast. It was spot on. The guys working in the pub for both of our meals were very friendly and polite without being intrusive. This is a busy pub in what we thought is an area of small hotels and private houses/ flats. It’s a lovely place of peace and quiet away from the city crowds. We wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone to pay a visit…….

Loved this pub- food , service, and location
We had dinner there during the week, and liked it enough to do the Sunday roast. Loved all the meals. The pork with crackling was terrific. Enjoy Hyde park across the street then have a nice supper. We did the park Sunday morning then roast. A great morning. Staff is very nice and the food was great. Book a table if you want to do the roast.

Nice Fullers range and a guest ale too. We both went for fish and chips, that was very nice although quite a thick batter. Glad I don't like peas as the pea offering was hopeless.

But expensive. I appreciate the location but I think the limited competition locally has gone to their heads. Significantly more expensive than better establishments in the centre.

This local pub is located across Hyde Park and checks all the boxes for anyone looking to experience local pub fare in air conditioned comfort. Staff are friendly and efficient and the menu contains the usual pub fare one would expect (sausage and mash, fish and chips, onion rings were enjoyed on two different occasions). Honeydew beer on tap (one of my favourites) as well as cider and a properly mixed Gin and Tonic all get our thumbs up. There is loads of seating in the front at numerous communal picnic tables (though a bit noisy) and inside seating is more intimate (or you can sneak upstairs and enjoy the nice view on the outside deck!

Our hotel was located just around the corner, so really this was our local. Lovely sitting outside under the patio heaters having a drink after exploring London. Nice friendly service, did not eat here , but seemed very popular, with tourists and locals

£5.75 for a pint!! And I’m from Dublin ! What an absolute joke ! Forgetting the extortionate price of a pint, they didn’t even have cappuccino, I settled for two latte and I’m not messing, they tasted like the Nescafé sachet’

We stayed in the Corus hotel situated just beside The Swan so as you’d expect you’d give it a go.

Anyway, we ordered two lasagne, these tasted like they were reheats as the foundation of it was like crust - the garlic bread was a dentists nightmare!

We found it SOOO hard to get a seat and when we eventually went upstairs to see if we could get one unfortunately it was the same, a lot of tables free but with plates and pint glasses on them. We asked the Barman could we sit down somewhere (expecting him to clear a table) but his response was “I’m only starting my shift I don’t see anywhere to sit...

Good luck lads! After we mentioned this to people afterwards they said it’s to be expected here

We ate here on both Saturday and Sunday evening. Both meals were well prepared, hot and tasty. Excellent value for London. On the Sunday night we sat near the counter and everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. Steak Pie, Fish and Chips (small size but big enough) and fish pie was our choice.

Can you explain why... If someone is refused entry they can pay a £20 bribe to the Latvian/polish/third world bouncers to be let in.... But if they don't they are refused hands down?

What a great pub, great area, historic building, just what you would expect unless you are out for a dinning experience. This is a pub with pub food, but if you want to sit and relax a bit and take in the area, I think you will enjoy it. Touristy, perhaps, but it is a cool little place.
