Address
Neighborhood: Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.

Myself and my friend went to the toilet together not knowing we weren't allowed to do this.. we were dragged out of the toilet cornered and violently shouted at by head of security not only were we left shaken up he then said that we were to be strip searched as he didn't find what he was looking for in our bags, he was convinced we were doing drugs when we weren't and decided to get every security guard to watch us and follow us the entire night! Ruined our bank holiday and made us feel so uncomfortable! Never in my life have i been spoken to so rudely by any man like that! I was trying to apologise to soften the situation to be told to shut the f**k up you bullsh*tt*ng b*tch im keeping my eye on you all night i know you are a liar.. never will i return to this venue again its clearly run by a very corrupt dodgy group of people!

The events this place hosts are usually top of the range, up and coming brands. However, the club itself is pretty poor. I'm not sure what capacity license they have, but they are abusing it, or have scammed the licensing people.

You'll be lucky if you can get in the main room, let alone find somewhere to dance. And good luck not overheating because it feels like there is next to no aircon, so you're hit by a 40 degree wall of heat as soon as you enter the room.

There is one main entrance and exit door which is difficult to get to. There is a fire exist at the opposite end which is sometimes "out of use" as the bouncers say. If there was a fire in that main room on a busy night, I would be surprised if more than 10% of the club got out alive. They are making a mockery of their license and the health, safety and well-being of the club-goers.

Drinks are overpriced but not ridiculous. Giving out 300ml bottles of water is a bit silly and negates any harm reduction methods being followed by punters consuming drugs.

Finally, providing 3 (yes THREE!) cubicles to be used by over 1,000 blokes is an absolute farce. You either hold your bowels all day, or queue for approximately 30 minutes to get into the toilets.

This club needs a major overhaul which is a shame because the events and Soundsystem are top notch. It's just a shame the owners are greedy.

If you’re looking for an honest review of this place, this is it.
I’ve lived in London for ten years now.
But 93 Feet East takes the cake for the worst bar I’ve been to yet.
The website is awesome, granted. Hats off to that.
But no website can make up for a £6 330ml can of Heineken, served warm.
Nor make up for the bizarre decision not to have any lager on draught for a major Euros fixture.
You’ll pay £10 to put your bum on a seat, £6 for a can of red stripe, or £6 for half a pint of disappointing draught IPA.
Then there’s the staff who you’re not quite sure if they work there or not. Benefit of the doubt, they seemed quite new. But you know without working in a bar to clear tables, check if people want a drink every 20 minutes or so, stuff like this.
Pizza was decent though. There’s that.
Go somewhere else and save yourself the bizarre £10 per head deposit that you don’t get back or towards drinks.

We were attacked last night by a girl and a guy who proceeded to bite, punch us and pull our hair out. The bouncers not only watched this happen but then when they eventually did something they pulled me and my friend away (who was trying to get this girl off of me) and this girl then attacked my cousin and no one would help her. At this point a guy came over and starting punching and biting my friend and I as the bouncer held us in place. So not only did the security leave my cousin defenceless as she was attacked, but effectively held us in place for a guy to attack us. When this stopped they then tried to kick my friend out in her underwear (as the guy had ripped her skirt off). When we finally convinced them to let her put her skirt back on, the head of security locked my friend and I in a room and wouldn't let us see my cousin who was kicked outside by herself at 2am. My friend called the police as they weren't letting us leave. The head of security finally let me go get my cousin but wouldn't let me come back to get my friend, who was still locked in this room. It wasn't until the police arrived that they got upstairs to let my friend out. All the while the bouncers were incredibly rude to my cousin who was being forced outside by herself early in the morning, with no interest in helping her find us.

I cannot explain how upset and vulnerable we felt during this time. Worsened by rude staff who didn't care about what had happened or if we remained safe. They did not adhere to standards or practices that should be expected of bouncers. The club should be ashamed they employ staff of this low calibre.

It’s very hard to find good venues in London where the focus is on the music, 93 Feet East is one of the last surviving venues in London where you can just enjoy the music. Sound system is also one of the best, if not the best in London

I liked this bar when me and my friends walked in, good vibe, nice mix of people, and great music! Yes the drinks are overly expensive, but where aren't they in London?

HOWEVER, I gave a £10 note when buying a £6 cider. The lady behind the bar then gave me £3.50 change! When I confronted this bar lady about the fact she had short changed me, she ignored me and walked off very sheepishly. This then happened again to my friend when she went to by a drink, but she was short changed by £1 instead.

First of all, if you are going to short change people to make money, who would short change someone by 50p??? It makes the shorting of change MUCH more obvious and its not only an insult to be robbing my money, but also to my intelligence.

I don't know if this is common practice in this bar to make an extra buck (it shouldn't be as the drinks are costly enough) or just one robbing member of staff as she served both me and my friend who were short changed.

I would suggest this bar staff member is dealt with. It was the female member of staff (she was the only one on the bar at the time) with dark hair, working on the main outside bar on Friday the 17th of August between 9-10pm this was roughly when I had this drink!

I will be telling all my London work colleges and friends to avoid this bar from now on! I know its a small amount of money, that I do not even care about, it is however just so rude and obnoxious that I felt I needed to leave this comment!
