Was just given the info that they put on music built turned out to be so much more. Excellent programme of music, we saw Dave Jones Nonet, peerless, but it could have been any night, the variety looked great. Ales and ciders were well looked after, though a little pricy, and it was obvious there'd be very busy nights

The location on the river, the ambiance and the feel of the place is A1. The staff were all lovely, however . . . the service was DREADFUL which meant that at least one of our party at any time was straining their neck looking around trying to find a waiter/tress. Several times someone had to leave the table to... More

We popped in for lunch with friends having intended to eat in this pub for some time now. It has a lovely inviting interior but we were so disappointed with the food. The menu was very limited and expensive. All the usual suspects were on the menu, fish and chips, burgers etc, fairly uninspiring considering it is supposed to be... More

Been to bulls head many times. Took my mother in today for lunch. She used to really like the burgers. They must have changed chef. One of worst burgers we have ever had and service very slow. Won't be eating here again.

The restaurant is definitely welcoming and the staff very kind. But.... I have to say that I had to cope with the unespected, unpleasant surprise of a badly smelling fish and chips, smell which was admitted by the lady who attended the table. I admit that the incomvenient may happen, probably it is not the restaurant fault. And we complained... More

I am, if you have read my other reviews, always up for checking out vegetarian food, as I find it can be a good test of the chef. I am pleased to say The Bull's Head in Barnes is a great example of good veggie options in general, and of an excellent Geronimo Inn. The staff ( those on duty... More

This pub has great atmosphere and good food. Was here on Saturday but the staff looked so stressed as it was so busy being a weekend. Took forever to be served as it's understaffed. I've been before & would be back again but for a quick drink or catch up with a friend.

We have been to the Bull's Head a couple of times now, walking across the Barnes Bridge to enjoy the Way Out West jazz evenings in the tiny back room club that the pub hosts. Both times the music has been outstanding, with a very convivial crowd (though a small one; the room accommodates perhaps 40 people plus the musicians)... More

We pop in to the Bulls Head from time to time as we like the newly refurbished bar and restaurant and have had many light meals and drinks here. We fancied a proper Sunday lunch today and I am happy to say that the roast beef and Yorkshire pud on offer more than lived up to our expectations. The beef... More
