We thoroughly enjoying this show. The action never ends and the stage effects are very clever. Lovely to see how much the children actors enjoy themselves. The interaction of actor with audiences was an added bonus. Loved the film and would strongly recommend the show.

Went to two shows whilst here. Paid more for this and seats were not great than other. The merchandise wasn't great. The story didn't follow the actual film or book. They made one up it made sense in the end bit isn't like the film. The actors were fab for what they did but I was bored by half time.... More

I'm a big fan of the book and movie. Alot of the time the play didn't follow the book/ movie. Eg; In the book/movie, Matilda had her powers for most of the story. In the play, they only showered her powers twice. A lot of the scenes was random, like how suddenly there's a scene of the Russian mafia gang... More

This show is simply amazing, from the start to the end. I do not know where to even begin. The staging is absolutely brilliant, clever is an understatement. AND the cast - just jaw dropping talented brilliance. We went to see this show on Saturday the 14th January 2017 - Matilda, played by a little girl called Abbie (I think),... More

We visited London for the day, and during the evening we visited the theatre to watch Matilda. It was an experience that the whole family enjoyed! the story line was slightly altered which made it even more gripping. The actors were amazing and talented. It was my first west end musical, and i would highly recommend watching it if you ever... More

Not my favourite musical but that's just personal choice. I hadn't expected the level of children singing throughout which was too much for me . I got my tickets on Amazon for around 22 so it was great value for the price paid. I've done most of the musicals now and in my view Lion King for children is in... More

Matilda has a very good story, fantastic actors – it's the Royal Shakespeare company – very good songs and dancing. I think because the audience is made up of lots of children, the songs aren't too long, the humour is very evident, and the pace is good. We had swings flying over our heads, paper fluttering down upon us, action... More

Matilda was a great movie. The storyline has been changed slightly, however the characters are all amazing. To think so many are such young children- great! Miss trunchbull was awesome too. Such a great reenactment

I have seen this show about three years ago and went back on Tuesday 3rd January to treat a friend who loves all the children's shows. I was delighted to watch the standard has not dropped at all, as the title says "Children are Amazing" and to see the leading girl carry out her role with such professionalism is a... More

We were 3 rows from the front and spellbound throughout. The Singing, dancing and enthusiasm of the cast was fantastic and the children were faultless. Felt like a very interactive performance and we were never quite sure where to look next. Only tiny bit missing for me was a little lack of Matilda's magic powers, but a small detail in... More
