This is a fantastic local theatre with good production of small theatre groups. Informal and friendly with warm welcome on ticket door. Have a bite to eat or a drink in the pub before you go into the theatre. All is open and friendly as you would expect your local pub to be. Super, Keep it up.

Me and my wife have seen all plays in this theatre since we moved in to Honor Oak. The theatre seating is really good for such a small place, the staff is friendly and the pub drinks are varied and cheap. I recommend visiting for a great of culture and some drinks.

Every time I go to this theatre, I wonder why I haven't been for a while. We just love this theatre. It is easy to travel to and if you drive there is on-street parking close by. Alongside the theatre there is the Brockley Jack Pub, we didn't dine in there this time, but the food is good and you... More

The Jack Studio has really enterprising shows, some staged itself, others by visiting companies and is a genuine local attraction in its part of London - Honor Oak. Small, but comfortable - very comfortable by fringe standards - the adjacent pub is spacious and does edible food but make sure you arrive in time to order - shows usually start... More

It was just-ok- After seeing some plays at the National Theater, and then the Globe, and the Old Vick- perhaps did not help the expectation for this theater- and I must say that the whole thing was like being at a high school play. The theater is small- and the ambiance could be really great- but the acting was just... More

I just love the Brockley theatre , it's site along side the Brockley jack public house , nice to have a meal in then pop into the theatre . The theatre has a really good variety of show , it only seats about 50 people , would highly recommend a visit to this theatre .

This fringe theatre puts on a wide variety of short run productions. I have been to two plays here and both were well produced. The theatre is very intimate and welcoming and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The room is part of a large pub which serves standard fayre but friendly and very reasonable.

This fringe theatre is almost always full - for very good reason. The programming is varied and imaginative and in all the years I've been going I've never seen a bad show, and a proportion of them are good for the whole family - particularly the Christmas show which is always a treat. I can't recommend the place enough. The... More

I've been here quite a few times over the years, and have never seen a bad production. Very high standard of performance from all the companies we've seen here. Tonight saw Ballast Theatre's Marriage, an adaptation from Gogol. Great script by Howard Colyer, and sterling performances all round. Sarah Morgan has a great future in comedy; Jean Apps is surely... We had a wonderful evening at the Brockley Jack on Friday. My husband is disabled so they had kindly arranged for us to have 2 seats on the flat. They had reserved these although it is normally unreserved seating. We booked a table to have a meal before the show and we certainly weren't disappointed with the food, the price... More
