Having already taken my elderly Mother to see The Play That Goes Wrong last year, she decided that she wanted to see this production. It was well worth it to see an 88 year old lady laughing so much she was almost crying. Ushers were...More

A very funny play. A bit slow at the start but when it gets going it's none stop laughter. The Bedroom scene was like a Brian Rix farse. The Office scene was very clever they way it was put over. Highly recommended to see.

We went to see " the Comedy about a bank robbery" we weren't sure what to expect as we hadn't seen any reviews but wanted to see a show but something a bit different, not a musical for a change. The play is really funny...More

We have seen many shows in the west end but this was the first non musical we had seen. It was very good for such a small cast and I think this made it more interesting to watch as it wasn’t ‘busy’ on the stage....More

The Play That Goes Wrong is a high standard to set, and this weak Comedy About a Bank Robbery does not meet that standard. The first act was slow and not clever at all. The second act was better, but did not redeem the play...More

The Criterion was easy to find and had very helpful staff. Not sure if you rate a theatre visit on the place or the production. We had last minute ‘cheap seats’ at the back of the highest section. Visibility and sound was fine. Saw the...More

We visited The Criterion for the first time just over a week ago. Its obviously a very old theatre retaining some elegant historical features. It is quite a small theatre underground accessed from very close to Piccadilly Tube Station. There is a bar and a...More

The play was wonderfully entertaining, having lots of clever slapstick, very well done. So silly but so funny. The dialog was choreographed with many portions putting the audience in stiches. One of the best comedies I have seen. Don't miss this production. Well worth the...More

Went to see “A comedy about a bank robbery” . Haven’t laughed so much in years, brilliant comedy. Happy to take my teenagers who also rated it. Super little theatre. Good view and small theatre atmosphere . A cracking night!!

Personal preference of course, but the view from this theatre's stalls is fantastic - it's a small theatre so you're very close to the action on stage rather than looking down on it. Honestly not sure what sort of view you'd... More

Sorry I am not sure. We went in February. It is a very old theatre, maybe take a bottle of mineral water with you.
