My boyfriend and I bought half price tickets for the matinee show on a whim one hour before it opened and wow, this was one of the best decisions we've ever made. It was outstanding. The set was particularly clever in how they used the revolving stage. Everything was just perfect. I told myself I wouldn't cry but couldn't help... More

Les Miserables is one of my favourite musicals, not my favourite but one of... The actors and actresses always performs their characters to the best of their ability and make the show extremely realistic. The story line is not only entertaining as it is sad and humorous, but the songs only add to the atmosphere!

Visited during a 3 day trip to London! Fantastic theatre with a bar, easily accessible shop to buy merchandise (of which I bought lots!). Slight disruption at the beginning of the show; the show had begun and many people were late, and the people beside us were in the seats of the people who were late, leading to lots of... More

If you haven't seen this show you have no idea what you are missing. What a production! Went with my daughter, sister and niece and we were all blown away by this musical. The staging is second to none as is the acting, singing and music. Our tickets were £125.75 but they were well worth every penny.

I've seen this musical dozens of times in several places. It is always thrilling - an emotive masterpiece who's music and story stay with you for days afterwards. Stunning staging at the Queen's theatre and a cast the like of which I have not seen since Colm Wilkinson. Bravo Tutti but particular mention to Valjean understudy, Cosette, Enroljas and Gavroche.... 5 of us enjoyed this brilliant show, which finished with a well deserved standing ovation. The sets were very clever and the cast incredible. Unfortunately there was a negative, we were in row U, my knees were jammed against the seats in front, the rows were slightly offset and my left leg had a bar across high on my shin... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
