The area
Address
Neighborhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Fantastic show and staging
Nov 2021
A firm favorite for many, the matinee performance did not disappoint with the cast delivering an incredible performance. Previously saw the show in its first run, now 25+ years later, the new staging, sets and lighting are very impressive and aid the flow and pace of the story. Highly recommend.

Best show I've ever seen
Nov 2021 • Couples
I've never written a review for a show but I went yesterday and can't stop thinking about it. Of all the shows that are hyped up as classics, this was the best. Each and every voice was astounding though none more so than Jon Robyns as Jean Valjean. My mind is blown and it outdid all expectations. I wanted to see it again immediately after it finished. Definitely 1000x recommend.

Second time seeing this Classic. Bradley Jaden has taken Javert to another level and Cosette and Marius were Fantastic. Bring Him Home was again sung superbly, in fact the whole cast were Brilliant. The Theatre Staff made sure everyone was Safe and Comfortable and it was once again a Super Night.

Love this show

This is the second time I have been to this show at this theatre and was as powerful and engrossing as the first time.
Even though our seats were up on the nosebleeds it didn't take away any of the experience, if anybody is mulling over whether to go or not, I would have to see that les must is something everyone should have on their bucket list.
Fantastic

A Must See. We're talking Bucket List.

It's amazing.

As a musician I researched the story, film and music prior to attending which enhanced the experience for me. I was fearful that it may be too long for my boys (11 and 13) , but it is pacey enough thanks to the excellent production and set changes, and the story is easily followed throughout to keep the kids engaged and adult material is kept to a sensible level (some references to prostitution and suicide and death/war) so that an open-minded 10-11 year old should not be so shocked.

A Must See. Bucket List stuff.

An absolutely brilliant show that retains the previous cast performances.

After a long wait for the show to go ahead, massively impressed with DMT management for keeping us fully advised along the way and we were not disappointed having not seen the show for some time and not knowing any of the new cast. Every member of the cast's acting was brilliant and their voices superb which we could always hear so clearly from the stalls. The acoustics in the theatre are exceptional and the cast, crew and orchestra worked so hard and well to really make the show a fantastic pleasure. Jon Robyns and Bradley Jaden were superb as the leading men but that would be the same for all of the cast, right down to the young Cosette and Gavroche. The first time in 5 show attendances when we could hear every word sung and the current cast were as good as any previous well known "stars". An exceptional afternoon/early evenings entertainment which has made us wanting to see it again.

A triumph - but the audience….
Oct 2021 • Couples
We loved the show, the actors were passionate and the story and songs compelling. We felt totally immersed in things right from the start.
Sadly, although ( perhaps too politely) requested by the theatre staff to wear face masks, hardly anyone did. I was disappointed at the selfishness of others who chose to ignore the polite requests. The theatre industry has suffered greatly as a result of covid and I cannot understand why theatre lovers would choose to behave this way.
A request on stage at the start of the show I feel would really concentrate people’s minds and remind us all to enjoy but be kind in doing so.
Rant over!
