We did the online sushi rolling class and had a great time! Yuki was really patient, lovely, and informative and provided a lot of information on different types of ingredient that you could use to roll different types of sushi rolls (from cheaper tuna cans to the sushi graded tuna for example). Especially during lockdown it proved to be an exciting new opportunity to do something different and learn something new while engaging with people from across the world (there were people from Germany, England, Israel, and the US)! We'll definitely do another class soon! Thanks, Yuki

I've done 3 online classes with Yuki now and they've all been really fun with delicious outcomes. I'd so love to do an in-person class but live on the other side of the planet! Yuki has a way of getting everyone energised, working swiftly and yet managing to get something delicious to taste by the end of the session. Usually you finish off the rest of the dish once the class is over. It is good if you can have a partner cooking with you, or get some of the basics done before the class. The shopping list and guidelines Yuki provides when you book are great, and she happily makes suggestions for dietary needs and variations. Yuki has been really lovely in responding to requests and helpful about accessibility with a 12 hour time difference. Definitely recommend giving this class a go!

I have attended four online cook alongs with Yuki in the past few months. For each a comprehensive ingredient list with vegetarian and meat alternatives has been sent out well in advance. Any up front prep that is required before the class is also outlined. However, if anyone has not been able to do the prep, Yuki has also been able to offer a short cut alternative once we start. Her classes are fun, informative and whizz along. While we move swiftly she always has time to answer questions, offer insights into the ingredients and sourcing and interacts with the participants along the way. The dishes we have produced have been incredibly tasty and I am amazed that with her help I have produced sushi at home with none of the wrestling with ingredients that I expected! So I can now add several types of sushi, ramen and a hoto miso noodle soup to my repertoire and look forward to learning more about the amazing Japanese cuisine from Yuki in the future. Thank you!

Had such a good time with Yuki. You don’t need to be an expert - or even have any existing knowledge of - Japanese cuisine, Yuki makes everyone feel welcome. It’s a fun afternoon and your dinner is sorted!
