Really enjoyed my experience visiting The Valley for the first time, it is not as modern as some stadiums. The toilets and refreshment areas are also not modern, but for me this adds to the character. You have good views of the pitch from the away end. The stadium also has a decent atmosphere, if you have never visited I... More

No trip to London is complete without a trip to the football. We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Charltons home ground . Catch the train to Charlton station and walk about 5 mins from there tickets available at the gate

100 of us travelled up the Thames from Westminster to o2 on a boat, then a bus and walk via 3-4 pubs. The ground is massive compared to what is Northampton fans are used to ! However, the local fans could not be heard , only us 1300 away fans which didn't help the banter or atmosphere. Not many directions... More

Good little club for all to got too. Whether you are on your own or with friends or with family always have a fun day out. And shouted tends to be cheaper than the other football clubs. Complaint that I do that it could be a little bit better for facilities and access for away fans.

We won 3-1 and went joint top, the result was great and the Away support amazing. Home fans, massive respect for them and what they are going through at present. I support them 100%.... Lovely ground, facility's in away end lack a bit but who really cares about that. With Charlton a speedy return..

Went here as an away fan. Charlton were very accommodating and their defence allowed us to score four times. Joking aside, this ground is alright. Easy to reach from London Bridge (short walk from Charlton station). For the Championship it's a decent ground and the staff were friendly. They were really really really slow serving beers at half time. The... More

Away fans parking is. It great as you have to walk some distance. The stadium is old and requires a bit of tlc and bring up to standard.

Have been a season ticket holder with some of my children since our last venture into league 3. In that time the Owners have messed around the periphery of the matchday experience. Some new seats, and a new set of Managers on the Catering and field of play. However, the experience is still one where the food is neither cheap... More

Conveniently close to the train station, it's an easy ground to get to A relatively big stadium that has definitely seen better days than what they are going through right now Away stand is decent with friendly stewarding staff Strange policy on where you can or cannot drink alcohol though It's a shame the club is in a state that... I had high hopes for The Valley. We had a group of 4 people and travelled down via the Ipswich Town supporters coach. The area around the ground is quite rough and not a place I would want to be at night. As for the stadium, it was of a good standard. Big, good seats. A major fault was the... More
