My daughter (age 22) and I took Reiko's sushi course last night; what fun! It was great to learn and appreciate the art of making sushi, to hear about Japanese culture and know the rules of dining etiquette in Japan. Reiko was friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgable and ready and willing to expertly answer our numerous questions. We made a variety... More

Reiko is an amazing teacher. Professional, knowledgable and extremely skilled as well as patient. Thank you so much for my private class. I left feeling full of confidence and really looking forward to utilizing my new skills in sushi and sashimi. I look forward to coming back for further classes to expand my Japanese repertoire.

Following a recent trip to Japan, I decided to attend the Beginner's Course in Jan/Feb this year because I wanted to learn how to cook certain (basic) recipes which in my view you can find in London, but are either too expensive or not tasty (i.e. authentic) at all. First, Reiko is a lovely person, but at the same time... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the beginners sushi class. I was given a voucher for my birthday, and the booking of the day was very easy, and friendly. I appreciated the advice on parking in the local area. I was made to feel very welcome in the class (i went on my own but this proved to be no issue... More

Wonderful evening learning how to make Ramen and Gyoza - really demystified how to get those authentic flavours and left inspired to cook more Japanese food and I will definitely come back for more. A wonderful hostess, this is a fun yet educational evening - I would highly recommend. Oh ... and the food tasted FABULOUS! She gets very very... More

Reiko is a charming host and a very good teacher. Sample menus for the gourmet course are on the Hashi website. Reiko prepares four dishes on each of four nights which the students get to eat, all of the food is absolutely delicious. I am a keen self-taught home cook. All of the recipes Reiko demonstrated, most of which were... More

I received 2 classes as a Christmas present having attended the 1st which was good I was excited about attending the next class which was the 4 hour Sushi class. Unfortunately I woke that day full of cold/flu, it wasn't pretty! Not wanting to attend a cooking class full of cold and a snotty mess my wife called to request... More

As two people who love to eat sushi and have tried several times to make our own, we found this class to be the perfect level for beginners with a little bit of starting knowledge! The class was a great mix of hands on and demonstration in a friendly and lovely setting with a perfect sized group! There is a... More

I went to the beginner's course of 4 lessons. It was a really fun course during which we were taught to make Japanese food properly. We had a really friendly atmosphere and Reiko was a great teacher. The results were fantastic every time and I could hardly believe we'd done much of it ourselves! Would definitely recommend this to anyone... More
