As the title suggests me and my partner had a great time completing the treasure hunt. Loads of fun with a few facts thrown in, can't ask for more really. Would suggest The Game to anyone.

Really enjoyed the Treasure days treasure hunt over the weekend of 8/9th June. Rather than just wonder the streets looking at the sights this gave us a sense of purpose and discovery. It is amazing what these walks opened up in our learning. As a couple we walked the St. Pauls and City Hunt and the Hampstead Village treasure hunts.
It allows you to walk the alley's and byways you wouldn't normally bother with and search in detail the areas as you inevitably walk back and forth (to some people's consternation!) looking for the clues which you missed, some of which are wonderfully mischievous!!! Plenty of opportunity to stop and have a drink at many of the pubs on route or other small cafes as you wish. Take the time and don't rush is the motto and I hope you enjoy the walks as much as we did. The briefness of the clues and answers just set's you up to do more research and be more knowledgeable. The route and clues order is easy to follow although be sure to take time to absorb the history around you.

I happen to love the American TV show "The Amazing Race" where teams compete on a scavenger hunt around the world. I also happen to love doing walking tours in different cities. "The Game" was a combo of these two loves. I did the Covent Garden Treasure Hunt on a date one Saturday afternoon and it proved to be a lot of fun; however, I can imagine doing it in competing teams would be quite fun as well.
As we started, we didn't quite know how it would work but we would get texts with a clue/ task and we had to find it the answers or complete the task. You text back the answers. If you get stuck, you can get hints as well. It is quite a clever game, actually, as it is responds to your texts, etc. instantaneously. I learned interesting trivia about the Covent Garden area and found some hidden nooks as well.
My date and I agreed that we would love to do another one of these in the future (such as The City or the Westminster treasure hunts). I would love to see hunts developed for the Southbank area and maybe one for the Underground. It could be fun to travel to different stations (get a day travelcard).
Definitely recommend it!

We were wondering what to do for my daughter's 13th birthday and decided to take her and six of her friends to Covent Garden to do 'The Game' Treasure Hunt.

The best thing I can say was that we actually didn't finish it! We had a really great time going from clue to clue but with a bunch of girls, we ended up going to loads of shops as well as spending time in Trafalgar Square, visiting the National Gallery and Somerset House - we just ran out of time but no-one cared - we had a great time.

I imagine The Game would be great if you didn't know London at all but whilst I knew Covent Garden already, I just *thought* I knew it, finding little places and facts I didn't already know and reminding me that London is one of the best places in the world.

I'd recommend the game. It's easy to use, younger people stay engaged because it's all on a mobile phone ("the texts are coming back instantly, this is great") and gives you great purpose and structure for a visit, rather than wondering around or only having one or two places to go on your schedule.

My advice would definitely be to ensure you've got a few hours if you're doing it as a single group interested in London as you'll probably find some interesting diversions (and the Jack Wills Store on Long Acre!). If you do it as a competition between teams or people, make a note of the places you want to go back to!

Brilliant! So much fun. We split our group into two teams and raced eachother round Westminster. The only bad thing was the briefness of some of the info at each point - I want to know more!!
But it took us down streets and history I would never have known about otherwise - and I'm not a tourist. Highly recommended.

Brilliant concept, so easy, and loads of fun, thank you.

When starting the game we did not know what to expect. The clues are texted to you and you enter your answers in a text back. if you are wrong it does give you clues however there is a scoring feature. this feature is great if you are working in teams, if you are working as couple as i was I was getting very competitive! The game has a generous selection of interesting gems and more bizarre nuggets about the capital. Certainly worth playing even if you don't have a huge thirst for knowledge about London - this game will gently change that without you even noticing!

I have lived in London most of my life and I was amazed at the number of things that I did not know about it - some even staring right in my face when I go shopping. I found it so very interesting and was like a little adventure. I would recommend this for those who are dating on a third date, its inspiring and mysterious and curious all rolled into one and there's even a stop over in a pub! I recommend it to all those people who live or have lived in London and thought that they knew most of what there was to know about it.

This is a quirky way to spend an afternoon and you feel like you learn a bit more about a small part of London. Definitely worth trying if you fancy something different and very easy to use.

This is a great way to explore London using your mobile phone. We did Covent Garden but they are also in the City and Westminster. It is great value and we saw some really interesting sights that a bit of the beaten track. Definitely recommend!
