What a great chance to revisit such an architectural masterpiece right on one's doorstep after the mammoth restoration to house and adjoining park. The house delights the eye with the use of light, room sizes, room flows and connections and its important connection to the...More

The restoration of this lovely old house looks great. Worth a free visit from Ealing residents on Tuesdays and Sunday mornings. The Anish Kapoor exhibition is amazing. Needs to be seen to be believed and all exhibits viewed from all angles and distances!

In 1794, the architect Sir John Soane and his family moved into their new house at 12 Lincoln Inn Fields in Holborn, London, now part of the Sir John Museum. With business going well, in 1800 he purchased Pitzhanger Place in Ealing, which was then...More

I did not know the building before the recent restoration but it has certainly been done to a magnificent standard. The rooms are largely unfurnished so the attraction is really in the recreation of Soane's unique approach to architecture and interior decoration. Each room has...More

We went to see the Anish Kapoor as a grand-family, from 75 to 4 years old, and all had a really good experience. His use of concave and convex polished surfaces creates some fascinating and slightly disturbing impacts on viewers. Highly recommended.

The Manor House has recently been restored to a very high standard. The interpretation in the house is also excellent; it was great that the team have thought creatively and not just resorted to the ubiquitous touch screens. The Anish Kapoor exhibition in the gallery...More

It’s great that this local landmark has been restored to former glory and re-opened to the public. It’s also free if you have proof of Ealing residency. Anyway, my partner and I took a pleasant walk there on a Sunday about a week after it...More

I went for the Anish Kapoor exhibit (awesome!) and ended up visiting the Soane House and learning more about him and his architectural skills. For its age, the HOuse is in very good condition.

Love Sir John Soames so was super excited to visit. Sadly, highly disappointed. Very little to see in practice. Considering you can visit Sir John Soames museum in Lincoln Inn's Field free, the £7 entry for this is really poor value.

We may not have a new cinema or Crossrail yet but the newly renovated Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing is a real jewel in Ealing’s crown. The story behind the Manor, the Sloane family and the architecture and restoration capture your interest. The restoration is fabulous...More

Not sure I have to say. I'm not even sure they offer tours. It's been closed for a few years for renovation. Should re-open soon though. It's not huge though.. would guess less than an hour.
