About
A local community Farm, right on the Thames Path in Rotherhithe, across the river from Canary Wharf. Much more than just a Farm, with loads to see and do for all ages. The Farm is open 7 days a week, but on-site Piccalilli Cafe closes on Mondays.

A nice little city farm to take youngsters to.

I was passing along the Thames path so dropped in. Run bt volunteers. Friendly and a variety of farm animals to look at together with some plant growing too. Obviously a bit damp and muddy in February. Nice place to while away a bit of time and for children to meet the animals. Shame cafe wasn't open.

Visit for my dogs birthday
Dec 2019 • Couples
We visited Surrey Docks Farm as it was my dogs birthday and we’d seen online that the farm is dog friendly.

My dog, along with us had a great time meeting all the farm animals, she especially enjoyed meeting the pigs and sheep.

My one recommendation to the farm would be next year possibly they can look at having a grotto with a Santa for dogs, in other areas around the country it’s been very popular and from what we saw during our visit the farm is already popular with dogs and their families so I reckon it would raise quite a bit for them.

If like us you are planning a day out to celebrate your dogs birthday I recommend a visit to this farm along with a cruise on a Thames Clipper and if you have time the Tower Bridge visitor centre is also dog friendly.

I liked a lot the location, the atmosphere and the food. You can feel in the countryside! I didn't appreciate the space for the animals..too much small.

Amazing, Very Compact Space But It Does Have A Few Main Animals (Pigs, Piglets, Goats, Cow, Donkey, Chickens, Ducks, Sheeps) I believe That's It. The Pack Of Foods Are £1 Each, (You Can Feed Specific Animals Only) Literally Spent £10 On Food Thats How Much I Enjoyed Feeding Them With My Daughter & Partner. Staff Are Very Helpful & Polite. Animals Are Well Trained! Parking Is Right Outside If Your Lucky To Get A Space. Not Busy At All. I Think This Place Needs To Get Out There More, It's Amazing. FREE Entry And Donations Are Welcome. 5* Star.

Interesting City Farm (as seen on TV)
Jun 2019 • Couples
We walked from Greenwich to this farm and had an enjoyable hour walking around. They have goats, cows, pigs, sheep, ducks and donkeys.

It's free to go in (although they do take donations for the up-keep) and there is a cafe on site (although unfortunately it was shut when we were there). There were several school parties walking around and the youngsters all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

This place is unique to this part of South London and should be supported.

Lovely inner city farm
Apr 2019 • Family
Have been here several times. Always welcomed by friendly staff. We visited this week so my grandson could feed the lambs which he enjoyed. You can buy a bag of food to feed the chickens, goats and sheep. The goats are very friendly-especially if you have food! A quaint little farm with plenty of animals. Take a stroll along the river or visit Surrey Quays shopping centre-just up the road. The farm is free to visit but donations are welcome.

Fantastic City Farm
Apr 2019 • Family
I’ve been coming here with my children for many years. Lovely compact city farm. My children always have a great time. We always buy a little cup of food to feed the goats. The time before last that we visited we queued to buy some food when the shop opened. There was a very unfriendly young girl serving. She didn’t say anything to me during my transaction and just held out her hand to take my money. I smiled and wished her a good day when I left. I didn’t get a response. It made the visit a little less enjoyable. It didn’t deter me from going again though, and we visited this week. It’s free to get in and the food charge is very reasonable. Fab cheap day out with the children during half term. I would 100% recommend it.

City Farm visit.
Mar 2019 • Family
Been visiting here for four years. Definitely gone down hill. Cafe closed indefinitely so nowhere to get a drink or anything to eat. Animals are still there but it doesn't appear to be as friendly as it used to be. Half the time things are closed off or the shop closed so unable to buy feed for the animals.

Day out.
Feb 2019 • Family
Great little farm.

They had donkeys pigs cows sheep rabbits chicken ducks and goats.

The tea room was closed which was a shame.
Would be good if they could get some more animals for the farm.

They do have wash stations and toilets.

Disabled access is good.

Would be good if the staff did talks about the animals and had more advertisement about the farm like history and how to get involved.

Parking is good you can use the local streets. There is also a bus that runs right past it from Canada Water station.

All in all for a small city farm very good defo a couple of hours killer.
