Neighborhood: Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.

Paul Smith only does quality but is expensive. This is always worth looking out - loads of Paul Smith bargains with real serious reductions - jeans for around £50...that's 70% off real quality. Also a good range of shirts, shoes, bags, socks and accessories with suits upstairs. Staff are always helpful too.

First time I’ve tried to visit since last summer when, despite signs to the contrary, I was told it was closed. Post-Covid lockdown, however, it was open to all-comers, its windows displaying white T-shirts, white shoes and a white notice announcing closure for lunch between 1 and 2pm. An impressive range of posters in a display beside the entrance door.

You know, I have been shopping here for years and never fail to be impressed. Regularly have some great bargains, and today, the two ladies that helped us were a delight. They went out of their way to suggest some real bargains and we had such a fun time shopping there.

I'm only vaguely familiar with the Paul Smith brand and came to this "outlet" store just to see what was available. On the day of the visit, most of the shop was being refurbished and only the room sized upstairs part of the shop was open. The only way up was via a steep spiral staircase.
No question that some of the clothes are very unique and eccentric. If the price tags are anything to go by, then the discounts are certainly worth it for fans of the Brand. For me, it was just over-priced.
Sorry! For Paul Smith fans only I think

The location on Avery Row is very small and only has men's (and a few children's items). The woman's location is at Royal Exchange (near Bank's subway station) where it is much larger, with women's, men's and children's wear. The men's clothing seem more heavily discounted - lots of shirts, "jumpers" (sweaters), blazers and suits. The women's clothing was between 30 to 40% off of last season's but there is a large selection and many sizes. It looks organized well like a regular store. If you are a Paul Smith junkie or want a deal, the Royal Exchange location is worth a look - this is a high end mall, in a historic setting, with other shops like Gucci, etc. and a nice cafe in the middle.

Over the years I have visited this outlet many times. I have bought 3 or 4 suits and 2 pair of shoes. The shoes are great quality and trendy. Though the suits are a different story. I am really disappointed in their quality or lack thereof. I do not wear my suits on a daily basis for from it. But two suits have big tears along the pockets this after 2 or 3 years. I have never experienced this before with suits from other designers. Hence, I can recommend the shoes but not necessarily the suits.

No one is able to smile, say hello or acknowledge customers in the store. All staff stand around chatting, eating and chewing gum.
I wanted to look at the ties and accessories which the manager had thrown clothing all over and was standing next to. When I went over and tried to look he constantly ignored me and no help was offered.
Decided to head back in 2 hours later so that I could look at the ties. I, as everyone else entering the store, were treated in the same fashion as before. Not even a smile or any form of acknowledgment was offered.
Picked up what I wanted and went to pay. Wasn't until I looked back at the receipt on the way out I realised they had over charged me and I needed to return the items and then re-buy them because everyone is too busy to help customers and give any forum of attention.
Will not waste my time in there again.

Paul SMith must be making a mnt with all the stoes he has in London but to not have AC in this tiny location is a bit ridiculous, actually many of his sops were without AC. The sale shop at BIcester the assistant told me they havent had air conditioning for almost 2 years.....

I often call here just to see what is on offer.
Unlike most outlet shops it is not inundated with products which you would not want to wear, or maybe that is just my thoughts.
If you are in London you have to pay a visit and promote the wearing of Paul Smith, which I have done since he started in Nottingham.
For me it is pure pleasure to visit a Paul Smith shop at prices I can easilly afford, I actually got married in Paul Smith clothes in the 70's.
