I really have enjoyed my time in Kensington so far. Everything is central and easy to get to. I have plenty to still explore. The accommodations are plentiful and the area is walking friendly with access to two central underground stations - Earl Court and Gloucester.

Stayed at the Rydges which was a very central hotel and found the Kensington area a great place to stay.
There is plenty to do especially if you just want to explore the local fare. The tube is close by of which there are several lines to take you into the heart of London etc.
The Natural History Museum was minutes walk away from the hotel and so is the main street, Harrods is also a short tube ride from here too.
If your new to London this is great place to begin your journey.
We found some nice places to eat nearby too so overall it's a great place to stay !

We stayed in Kensington for 4 days. Despite the fact our accommodation was not up to the standard of its ratings, the area was lovely. Everything was easy to find and access to coffee shops and the underground was great. A very quiet area with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Lovely parks to walk through and plenty of benches to sit down and take it all in. Definitely an area worth a visit

This is one of the wealthiest suburbs in London. I walked down one street where every house was worth a 100 million pounds. The Main Street and side streets are full of trendy restaurants and cafes not to mention the sir Winston Churchill pub which is a must do if you’re into a pint 🍺 of beer or two. It is also close to a train station and the spectacular Hyde Park if you feel like exploring some more.

Much like my neighbourhood, Kensington is probably a okay place to live. It does have Holland Park and boarders on Hyde Park which are great on their own. Along with these parks, it also has the Kensington High Street. All these are covered on their own, in other areas of TripAdvisor.
For someone not from Britain, the architecture (even of local flats) is interesting. Yet there is not much else to draw one to this area of London.

Kensington is a great area to stay in during your London visit. It is close to the Natural History and Victoria & Albert Museums. It is also the location for the Royal Albert Hall. There are many beautiful buildings from the 1800's as well as shopping opportunities at Harrod's.

it is a very quiet and safe neighbourhood, specially North-kensington. I would not recommend this area for tourists, unless you go to Holland Park or Portobello for a stroll and some appetisers.
The neighbourhood itself it is widely known to be one of the most common areas used for tourism purposes and probably the area with more density of Latin-Mediterranean in London. Including, greeks, spanish, french, Italian and many brazilian.
It is not worth a visit as a tourist, but is worth for accommodation. Very close to central london and very good transport connections.

A nice and quiet place where you can find some good restaurants or just enjoying the architecture. Particularly if you're coming from USA you will be amazed but this old and classic architecture but don't expect activities or amazing things to do in there.

Kensington is generally an elegant Borough with superb streets of exceedingly high priced houses. The affluence is reflected in the numerous upper end restaurants and bars found around the place. Many European embassies have their roots here and there is a wealth of peaceful space, notably garden squares and the wonderful Kensington Gardens. Definitely worth a stroll around and easily accessible on the underground.

Hi, Sadly I Cant, but being London, you will find someone. If you are staying in accommodation, call them and ask them for their advice.
Sorry not much help!
