Step back in time to Thomas Carlyle's house from Victorian times. Owned by NT...this lovely house in Chelsea is steeped in history. Set on 5 floors with a walled garden which you can access. Staff informative.

Very interesting preserved house of the famous Thomas Carlyle. The garden is lovely and preserved the way it would have been in carlyles time. The house is managed by the NT and the guide was very helpful ( no tours, you're allowed to wander freely...More
